Really hoped they don't gimped on the side hardware, like my rog 6 is riddled with compass and GPS accuracy issue that apparently also mentioned quite a lot in the forum.

Mills, 16 Jan 2024Dear Anonymous. Please shut up. 14 hours of active use is a... moreWhat you need to look at is the talk time. That's what impacts mobile data usage too. And less than 30 hours is pretty bad with a 5000 mah battery.

Reading the review in its entierity , I find no coherence between the 4.6 rating and the faults in areas such as cooling, camera , speakers etc.
I believe GSMArean should introduce some transparency as to how a phone ends up with a certain rating. For me this phone felt a 4/5 reading the review , accounting for all the cons. Nothing against the phone though , except that this seems to move away from the Gamer vibe and now into the mainstream world.

Nice and verrrryyyy longgg review... Good gaming phone but too expensive. The length of this review can fit 2 flagship phone reviews in 1.

The device temperature is crazy high during the benchmark. While the 8 gen 3 has very high peak performance, the sustainable perf. is just a bit higher than the level of 8 gen 2... unless the use of cooling accessories is involved.

It still has the venerable 3.5mm headphone jack. Cant wait to buy this and hook it up with my Verum One Mk. 2

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2024Yep, another gen 3 smartphone with extremely poor battery l... moreDear Anonymous. Please shut up. 14 hours of active use is amazing, in which even GSMArena even said so. Please get your garbage standards out of here. Asus proved you don't need 6000 mAH for good battery life. Just an efficient chipset and clean and optimized software. Bros think anything below 20 hours is bad.

Yep, another gen 3 smartphone with extremely poor battery life. Looks like this SoC is an even bigger fail than gen 1.

See that? Asus just proved to us that you don't need to have such a big battery to last long, proven by how they beat out the ROG Phone 7 in battery life.

" Look closer, and the details appear overprocessed and oversharpened in areas like foliage, grass, and some other fine geometrical details, which also frequently have artifacts".
Dear Asus, only Google gets free pass here by doing the same. Go fix it !!
