My ROG Phone 7 dead after 8 months with very light usage, no gaming at all since i bought it for watching movies and music. Luckily warranty kicks in and my rog phone returned. Had lost faith with the phone, then bought IQOO 12 while try to sell my ROG Phone 7. But after rethink and saw ROG Phone 8, I decided to give my ROG Phone 7 second chance. I really missed dual front facing speakers, LED notification, and uninterrupted display (none of these are available in ROG 8). Now I'm carrying both ROG Phone 7 and IQOO 12. Both are really compliment each other with ROG Phone 7 good for multimedia content and IQOO 12 for its versatility and camera. I really hope my ROG Phone 7 wont dead anymore because I love this phone very much.

Okay so my old device was realme 9 6/128 but now I bought this one ( ROG phone 8 pro 24/1tb) and HOLY SHIT this shit is snappy as fuck, I've never used a flagship phone before so that's probably the reason why I'm so shocked rn, but god damn, if you're not that spec picky that cares about every inch, every component on the phone that you have then THIS is it, costs a bit less that S24 Ultra but has more RAM ( because of course y'know - it's a gaming phone?), I'm just saying this here if someone is thinking about buying one of these

Except if that phone has international warranty, they will not get any warranty for their self imported phone. For the network band, it is what it is, you have to make sure that phone must have some network bands that are supported in your country before importing it.

Attention! People do not buy CN Tencent versions from Aliexpress, These are intended for China mainland only. They lack some GSM network bands needed in Europe or Americas. Also OTA updates won't work and service centers will not repair chinese-origin phones.

This is so bad, I am really sorry for the loss of this great phone. Now there is a hole in the screen. That one thing is enough reason for not buying it any more. Will stick to ROG 7 for while it works.
Asus shot themselves in the leg with this one.

Seeing that photo with ROG phone and Switch/Deck feels so wrong. These other 2 devices are for playing real games. ROG phone runs pay2win "games" where weak people spend thousands (or even tens of thousands) of dollars.

No subwoofer, lower battery life, no more accessories, punchhole camera, eliminated the awesome speakers that were this phone's trademark... they've killed this phone. For what? Why?
