rizki1, 09 Jan 2024This is the flagship Note series which is why it's exp... moreredmi flagship is K series which exclusive only china or rebranding into poco brands on global market.
redmi note always mid range. and if galaxy A35 and A55 come with similiar price range with this, samsung still gonna has edge because their have better software and 4 year android + 5 year security update than xiaomi.
if iqoo neo9 pro availability is good, its gonna destroyed mid range market, but only india confirmed launch the rest of market still not confirmed.

Dear xiaomi, calling a phone "note" without including any stylus or note related features is embarassing.

PureOS, 09 Jan 2024Just wait Poco X6 pro. This one have even slower soc than p... moreI'm not sure "waiting" will make much of a difference... Because Xiaomi's phones have lately become a little too pricey, irrespective of model. Maybe it's better to look elsewhere for a new phone... I'm checking out other brands now, even though I was planning to eventually buy the Poco F6. Poco phones have always been the real bangers, they're oftentimes attractive to techies/nerds, but if Xiaomi keep raising the prices, then these people start looking elsewhere. Fortunately, there are some interesting phones in the pipeline, my only worry is the absence of some network bands that are used in the EU, that's the only reason I don't direct import Chinese phones.

It comes with 2 app of the same kind, for letting users pick which one to use. Some prefer xiaomi apps, because they offer more features, generally, but some like the stock look from google's own apps
I prefer xiaomi apps so it's fine if my phone doesn't have a files, phone, sms or gallery app from google. Play Store is better tho, but it's nice to have another app store
As for other third party apps, found that they can be easily deleted (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc)

It's the first time i like the photos taken by a Xiaomi smartphone. Not sure why but to my eyes those images look like they have better processing than older Xiaomi devices despite all the issues mentioned in the review. That's a nice step forward. That's my opinion as a Pixel 7 user.

Just wait Poco X6 pro. This one have even slower soc than poco F4 sd 870. Not to mention Poco F5 which is a beast. That 200mp camera cant have great image processing with poor chipset. Plus old Android 13 and terrible speakers.

I've never been happy with Samsung sensors; I had a Galaxy S21 and a Mi 11 Lite 5G. Give me a Sony sensor any day. Thankfully, we still have the likes of OnePlus and Realme offering Sony sensors, as well as superior UIs (even though OxygenOS is dead and ColorOS is the same on OnePlus, Realme and Oppo devices).

The vanilla 13 lacks stereo speakers, and the 13P+ has a curved display and is too expensive. The 13P seems to be the most attractive option out of the three variants.

I still get great photos with my old Redmi Note 8 Pro here in Finland with zero pollution but I don't think the results would be the same in India. I've seen very different results also with Motorola Edge 40 & 40 Neo in India vs EU. I didn't understand why but you figured it out: it probably is caused by air pollution.
PS. I have bought a more modern Xiaomi 12 Lite and I get superb photos with it in all conditions here in 🇫🇮, it's a big improvement over the still very good Note 8 Pro.

That over sharpening in videos in probably a mediatek thing, it has happened with other xiaomi phones with mediatek like the Redmi note 10s
