There's a gap of about 2-3 months between each update, but that's fine IMO. It gets boring to download security updates every month.
Also you can easily turn off the ads.

And 7+gen2 scores there are lower than it's average not than max scores
Then how trust blindly that site.
Turn on your mind and search and thinking and then you will find the facts
7+gen2 geekbench single core is 1700 and 8300u is 1500 which is better which
What's the numbers of geekbench scores in that site ?
Compare it please with numbers which i have told you now search web and you will see yourself.
Then don't trust blindly any site . Search many sources to be accurate of your knowledge.

The poco x6pro make terrible pictures. My old Redmi Note 8 pro from 2019 ist better. It is ridicolous.

he not wrong D8300U is better SoC and on the similiar level to snapdragon 8gen2.
and the reason some review gets lower score they dont turn on performance mode on the setting poco x6 pro. the reason they wanted to make sure its as realistic as ever on daily use because most user who bought phone dont bother setting their phone and performance mode is not default setting on.
the throttling is happened even on snapdragon 8gen3 or 8gen2. all flagship SoC always throttling around 50-70% performance when throttled test, you can check flagship review. and poco x6 pro get 70% throttle result with performance mode is already good.

Peak performance vs Sustainable performance
