I was using redmi note 4 since 2017. So I became fan of redmi phone. Today I purchased redmi note 13 despite of so many people advising me not to buy it. Within 4 hours of starting it, I am sick of its advertisements and unnecessary apps. This is a nuisances. I am ready to sell it in 10% discount. It's not tolerable. Mi seems to earn more money through advertisement and selling junk apps than through selling phones. Before buying redmi note 13, please see someone's phone. I am sure you will not buy it.

Thanks, very timely! X6 Pro loses to this! This Redmi is cheaper by $40 (in our country) for the same ram and capacity as the X6 Pro. but the 3dmark stress test of the Redmi is 3000 points while the X6 Pro goes down to 2000 points! I knew there is something fishy about that pricey X6 Pro. Poco is not the price/perf king anymore.

With battery life, as they say, your mileage may vary. I think with MIUI you can set battery saver to more restrictive (e.g. kill background apps after 10 minutes, or immediately). Also there is a setting in Developer Options 'Always keep mobile data on' even on wifi - that can be turned off. I'm sure there are others.

Will photos also be added to the Photo Compare Tool in the future?

Mr. Anonymous, 30 Jan 2024In Germany, for just €40-50 more one can get an almost flag... moreOn Xiaomi's official German website the 8gb 256gb Xiaomi 13t (only variant available) is €650 but there is currently a €30 coupon so €620. The Redmi note 13 pro 5g is €400 for the base 8gb 256gb on Xiaomi's German website but there is currently 10€ off so it's €390. Maybe you can get a good deal on the Xiaomi 13t but there is a big difference in official prices.

In Germany, for just €40-50 more one can get an almost flagship level phone, Xiaomi 13T.

The OS from OEMs like Sony, Asus, Sharp, etc are closer to stock with very minimal bloatware. Meanwhile, the Chinese are putting their own app store, services, bloatware, and heavily customize their skin.

Not available in Vietnam at this time with 512GB of storage. Otherwise this would be a slam dunk purchase for me.

newflesh, 29 Jan 2024Wow, the battery life is unimpressive considering 5100mahIt's probably due to MiUI. Most Xiaomi phones dont really have great battery life when factoring their large batteries. Compare them to phones from Asus or Sony with smaller battery yet getting as good or better battery life. It's the software.

Everything performs well, only the battery but that's because of the high screen resolution. One of the cheap phones with eSIM support, I remember many people asked for it on the Note 12 Pro and here Xiaomi makes it. Maybe there is also a heart rate sensor but it's not in the review.

Easier on the battery and onscreen GPU tasks. MIUI does a weird scaling anyway so you don't actually benefit from such high resolutions.
