Biggest flaw for me is "some markets getting Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and some Exynos 2400 chips". Next year or the year after I will be out looking for a new phone. Hope that they 'll fix it since I live in EU and I do not want Exynos. If I needed right this moment a new phone, I would take the OnePlus 12 due to its processor. Very close match up though.

Is it better for me to buy the s23+ or 24 ultra , it's important for me to have good battery and a good camera but it also being worth the price .

With how little phones are and will be improving from now on I wouldn't call the S20fe "ancient" by any strech of imagination. It should still hold up just fine to any everyday use.

Just because one exynos chip was bad it doesnt mean this one is (spoiler alert:it isn't). Even though apple has made some of the best phones ever, they have also made iphone 6 which would bend with litle to no force. Stop having preconceptions about a product unless/until you try said product.

Also old Exynos shouldn't be compared to new Exynos.

nion, 12 Feb 2024Guarantee you won't feel the difference and if you say... moreBuddy i have personally burnt hands with 3 exynos phones and all were crap. The problem on exynos is it gets too hot ecpecially in hot and humid cities. Once it starts getting hotter.. you feel lag, Battery drain due to throttling of cpu.. it hardly takes few minutes for exynos to get hot.

A Samsung phone with stock android would be perfection.

                          Thank you for the test!
What screen resolution did you use for the battery tests?

I have had s series since s3 I went from S20plus to s23 and I was extremely disappointed, so much so I did an early trade in to get s24plus! I love it, battery lasts me all day and a I am a gamer and on my phone A LOT! I have zero complaints. The stuff in this review is so minimal. All I have to say is s23 was horrible.

What, if they recommend the S23 instead of this one because it's better value for your money at the moment, does that mean that the S24+ should get a 1/5 rating?

Any new phones you buy within first 3-4 months of release it will have something or the other, always wait to buy the next manufactured lot where they have resolved maximum possible issues, i have never had any issues buying iphones or samsung phones especially after 4-5 months later manufactured devices. Yes right now the best worth phone to buy is s23 ultra in less good deal way better than s24 plus if size is not an issue but s24 plus not bad but wait 3 months buy in may check manufactured date its always better as no issues guaranteed

I wonder that there is no much improvement in photo/video quality compared to my ancient S20FE. It still does its job in browsing, calling, messaging, video and few apps as newest S24+ woud certainly do but where is the point paying 1000+€ for same 'usefulness'.
