PureOS, 24 Feb 2024Dimensity is also great midrange soc, and Snapdragon is not... moreI would say based on my own experience and from what I read:
Snapdragon - good for battery life, audio and photo quality
Dimensity - general performance
Agree

Thinkfun92, 24 Feb 2024Exactly, snapdragon is a real magic house.I totally agree. Even though the newer Dimensity chips seems to be ramping up their game lately.
I still feel If you have a Snapdragon phone the consensus is that the battery, audio and photo quality is just a bit more better than the Mediatek's.
But I would get a Dimensity phone rather than an Exynos one.
    Agree?

pelicethekitty, 24 Feb 2024just becausw its snapdragon, doesnt mean its good.. this so... moreWell, i was trying to "challenge" you with that statement. Not all Snapdragon chips are good. especially the SD888 which seems to have this perpetual overheating + throttling issues leading to poor battery life. Agree? Or has it been fixed now?

Gino76ph, 23 Feb 2024If it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree? Dimensity is also great midrange soc, and Snapdragon is not better. But i found that display is meh. Also camera in low light is nothing to write home about. On the other hand, stereo speakers are great, build quality also, upates to, and camera is also good in daylight. Speed is ok, and in medium settings is good for gaming without thermal throttling.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2024Galaxy A34. Dont buy poco, will get less support on poco.Do you think your decision making rests on the specs for price ratio & good value for money (Poco) than inferior specs but better cameras and faster updates (Samsung)?

PureOS, 23 Feb 2024A34 have terrible screen. Its 240 pwm and after longer usag... moreIf it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree?

blacklistedmj , 23 Feb 2024I know 4G bla bla but i really like this device ✌️ The real problem problem are the prehistoric A73 and A53 cores that they are still using

justasmile, 23 Feb 2024Now that's overpriced for a Snapdragon 685. Just get ... moreNot really, the phone costs anywhere from £130 to £200 which is in line with the specs.

Also most aspects the redmi note is better, better screen, better charging, better cameras. I think a15 wins in battery endurance and newer cores in the SoC, thats it (for about £20 less in the UK).

I have this phone and the screen hurts my eyes, probably because of PWM.

I am using this last 7 days. Its ok as mid ranger. Bought it 22,999 BDT. I don’t play games anymore so SD685 is ok for me.

The 3x crop zoom looks quite decent, notice that the hole patterns on the windows are almost completely resolved. As with its siblings, there is something wrong with the EIS. Video is useless without tripod.

A sidegrade from redmi note 12 4g huh. shared sim slot card is bummer though. Gonna wait for redmi note 14 -and probably skipped if its dimensity based (so no cusrom except gsi)-.

Moto g34 is a way better alternative, but you never mention it

I tried the redmi note 13 4g and I was disappointed with the camera. In comparison to my redmi note 10s, images were soft and lest detailed, despite having 108mp compared to 64mp. Had the camera been better or equal to my 10s I would have kept it, as everything else was great for the price.

Well, it's a decent phone in this price range. For basic use and patient user it will be more than enough. For me, it has just two things I didn't like: UD fingerprint (I really really like side ones,
I find them faster and more practical), and meh sound (cheap and squeaky). Display is great, battery more than enough, camera OK, design without quirks, full retail package, good price.
It would be an easy recommendation if there were no Samsung A15 (4G). Redmi is better than A15, but A15 is a Samsung and that counts.

                                      3g next version?

Just get a Samsung A15, really.
