Very slow in terms of performance. Should use Dimensity instead of that.

pelicethekitty, 26 Feb 2024they kinda ruined it though by using an old soc that's... moreYes.. Note series should stop releasing 4G variant because both Qualcomm and Mediatek already stop the development of 4G SoC.

The minimum varian of Note 13 series should be Note 13 5G. But if Xiaomi wanna down the price, they should use Dimensity 6020. This is the lowest variant of Mediatek SoC and Mediatek usually sells cheaper than Qualcomm. Just sell the 6/128 variant only (with micro sd slot). It is useless that using 8GB of RAM but using old and rather slow SoC like SD685.

The current Note 13 5G is a joke. It the only Note 13 series that still using side FP and mono speaker.

Just placed an order for it. Hope it will be a bit better than my current infinix note 12 pro 5G.

Jon, 26 Feb 2024I bought this phone. Best price for the specs.they kinda ruined it though by using an old soc that's been used for the past two generations in the same series

I bought this phone. Best price for the specs.

Gino76ph, 25 Feb 2024I won't even think about going to iPhone due to its ma... moreYes ofc.

PureOS, 24 Feb 2024From my experience Snapdragon or MTK is the same. With ipho... moreI won't even think about going to iPhone due to its many restrictions, limitations, walled garden and prices. I have been an Android user for 14 years and i'm very happy having Android phones than anything else. And it's all about choices as you got plenty with Android OS. It's just about choosing what fits your needs and budget.

Gino76ph, 24 Feb 2024I would say based on my own experience and from what I read... moreFrom my experience Snapdragon or MTK is the same. With iphone Bionic i had most fluid gameplay btw, but MTK was the coolest.

PureOS, 24 Feb 2024Dimensity is also great midrange soc, and Snapdragon is not... moreI would say based on my own experience and from what I read:
Snapdragon - good for battery life, audio and photo quality
                      Dimensity - general performance
                      Agree

Thinkfun92, 24 Feb 2024Exactly, snapdragon is a real magic house.I totally agree. Even though the newer Dimensity chips seems to be ramping up their game lately.
I still feel If you have a Snapdragon phone the consensus is that the battery, audio and photo quality is just a bit more better than the Mediatek's.
But I would get a Dimensity phone rather than an Exynos one.
                        Agree?

pelicethekitty, 24 Feb 2024just becausw its snapdragon, doesnt mean its good.. this so... moreWell, i was trying to "challenge" you with that statement. Not all Snapdragon chips are good. especially the SD888 which seems to have this perpetual overheating + throttling issues leading to poor battery life. Agree? Or has it been fixed now?

Gino76ph, 23 Feb 2024If it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree? Dimensity is also great midrange soc, and Snapdragon is not better. But i found that display is meh. Also camera in low light is nothing to write home about. On the other hand, stereo speakers are great, build quality also, upates to, and camera is also good in daylight. Speed is ok, and in medium settings is good for gaming without thermal throttling.

Gino76ph, 23 Feb 2024If it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree? Exactly, snapdragon is a real magic house.

Gino76ph, 23 Feb 2024If it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree? just becausw its snapdragon, doesnt mean its good.. this soc used is quite "eh", and is similar from sd 680

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2024Galaxy A34. Dont buy poco, will get less support on poco.Do you think your decision making rests on the specs for price ratio & good value for money (Poco) than inferior specs but better cameras and faster updates (Samsung)?

PureOS, 23 Feb 2024A34 have terrible screen. Its 240 pwm and after longer usag... moreIf it has a Snapdragon chip it must be good. Agree?

blacklistedmj , 23 Feb 2024I know 4G bla bla but i really like this device ✌️ The real problem problem are the prehistoric A73 and A53 cores that they are still using

justasmile, 23 Feb 2024Now that's overpriced for a Snapdragon 685. Just get ... moreNot really, the phone costs anywhere from £130 to £200 which is in line with the specs.

Also most aspects the redmi note is better, better screen, better charging, better cameras. I think a15 wins in battery endurance and newer cores in the SoC, thats it (for about £20 less in the UK).
