Barry Egan, 04 Apr 2024Does this phone show ads ? please reply.I just bought it about 2 days back, it's really good, I was concerned about bloatware and ads after watching some videos online but after using it I'm so confused, there's literally no bloatware, not even one app and I haven't seen any ads either, I've been using it pretty aggressively past two days and I only have good things to say about it. I'm not sure if people lie in YouTube videos or what but this is better than iPhone and Samsung but yes its a compact phone so battery is what you should expect from a phone like this, it's no way bad but I have an extremely high use. I'm always on my phone unless I'm sleeping. I can't give final verdict on battery right now because I've been testing it and it's different from my normal use of phone. I'm using camera a lot which I barely do normally, and it consumes a lot of battery just under 20% since last charge. Another thing I'm confused about is Snapchat, Snapchat is draining battery like crazy and I'm not even using it that much. Like Snapchat is taking over 25% battery when my use is below average. I'm trying to figure out what to do with Snapchat, it's definitely not mobile issue. I would recommend buying it if it's in your budget. To me it's better than Samsung s24+. I don't have any complains, it's the prettiest phone in market after Xiaomi 13, and performance is amazing. My last one was also Xiaomi and I went for this one because I had it for 4 year and even tho it was a budget phone but it performs so well and it just kept getting better, yes it takes Xiaomi some time to improve their phone but after few updates I'm expecting it to improve drastically, that has been my experience with Xiaomi, and I think Samsung and Apple both should really be concerned about Xiaomi, it's gonna take their market, of course if US doesn't put a ban on them just like Huawei.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2024In Xiaomis own legacy apps there are adssame with other manufactures including samsung. like why do i have to press "don't show again today" everytime I need to check their galaxy store even though they already put features app (aka ads) everywhere inside their app.

I really would like to remind iPhone people that until the 14 came out, most all of the midrange Android phones were better constructed and had better cameras and software than iPhone had. For Years Android has been ahead in terms of quality and camera capability.

For flagship devices, there is no need to offset the price since people who buy flagships have money. Besides, if you are a manufacturer, that's the segment you do not want to annoy.
