Comparing price wise...Since A55 and OP12R cost exactly same in India that is 40k, GSMArena could have mentioned 12R as an alternative.

You cannot use their information as a source, they are too much unreliable. Look at the different Exynos 1480 info they've given.

Even in dxo results, the score is neck and neck compared to a55. It can also shoot 4k30 with gyro e-stabilisation. And another great thing is photo remastering.

objectively there is something strange if gsmarena gave a score of 4.1 to the a55 and 4.3 to the a54... personally I think that Samsung could have done much more, as it did for the a52s 5g

Experience wise pretty much the same, performance wise s20fe still hold pretty well against A55 and other midrange on A55 price, size is something preference-personally i like s20fe better because it fell slimmer and easier to hold with 1 hand.
The gripe of s20fe is stuck at android 13, battery isn't good at it used to be (4-5hours sot @ 120hz, around 5-5.5 hours sot @60hz, used to be +1 more hours) and unfortunately my unit starting to shut down when battery reach less than 5%, and dimmer screen compared to A55.
IMO S20fe still good if you can get good unit around 25% less than A55.

Those cons are manageable. The os updates and ui experience is the key. And also the camera.

And if not, the beloved smartphone benchmarks decide the battle, A55 is an over 20% upgrade over A52s. Sure, it's not a 2 generational upgrade, but it is something.
