I was watching another xperia VI review and there i saw that this phone has a white balance slider on auto. This is such a big deal for me. Because WB affects the whole vibe of a photo and being able to adjust it on the spot is very fast and convenient. Im surprised you didnt cover this at all.

Seriously, I have never seen better image samples from main camera. This guy destroys any competition even with 1" sensors. Even at 48mp. Very very close to IQ from a point and shoot camera. Very detailed and very natural looking colors and lighting. No overprocessing. Zoom is a bit different story. If Sony had longer support and better UI it would be no brainer for me (now it's less than 900€).

No VoLTE or VoWIFI support :(
Bought this phone, it's an absolute masterpiece and it feels so nice using it. All the tech and design choices work very well together. For those of you who live in a bad service area, there is no support for calling over wifi or LTE. I'm so sad, it renders this phone pretty much useless for me.

Sony is best battery and device lifespan. Bonuses include (sound phone/BT/3.5MM = Photos = pictures/videos) attempting to attract and maintain customers to their other products (PLAYSTATION, alpha cameras, bravia, DSEE mp3 players...) ____ only complaint is no aftermarket cases. ***2024 @ not in USA*** then NO USA wireless carriers sell them. (prefer "— compacts — Xperia 5 = but 1m6 is similar sized) ____ their smartphones last me 5+ years (currently using 3, all sony = xz2 compact, 5m2, 5m4) ***was hoping to upgrade to 5m6*** though not created and 1m6 wasn't released in USA

It's not like Sony is not competing with anyone I am the one who use Samsung note then use Sony Experia and guys there's a lot difference in short I found Sony is best because no need to touch up or editing my most images and obviously Sony rocks the market in future Samsung should drop the price and yeah even better then iPhones
Seriously do test it once you will stuck on Sony like I am 🤓

It feels as Sony is trying to compete harder finally as for spec wise such as Bravia and improved cameras, though does it justify the price?
I think not.

I must be blind or something but I'm checking side by side with the newer iPhone and I don't see iPhone pics being any better. This looks so true to life, it almost makes you feel like you are in the place. I'm really impressed this time with the camera rendition, the color accuracy, nice highlights, no oversharpening or weird contrast. Really in love with this phone photos.

Sony gave us 20MP with tiny sensors which was bad and now that camera sensors are big enough, everything shoots in 12MP. I lost almost all hope that anyone else will do it so give me a camera binned to 20MP Sony! Preferably a 1" camera with a diaphragm but I'll take anything I'll get at this point.
