In fact, I'd be extremely surprised if the Xiaomi fared better in this area than the iPad Pros which have been widely regarded as the best sounding tablets for like the last 10 years.
      Also there is almost no reason to have super loud speakers if the sound becomes horribly distorted at high volume

        Nobody decides to buy a tablet based on speakers, WIFI 7, or faster charging.
        No matter the resolution, it's still a crappy LCD, not even mini LED.
        iPad has better battery and about 180% better performance in multi core, that's what matters in real world, that's what matters 5 years later where Redmi would be more comparable to Smart watches in performance, not two more speakers.
        Apple certainly knew where to invest and where to not waste resources, which is actually rare for them.

          6 speakers as opposed to 4 on the iPad

          the speakers of the xiaomi pad 6s pro are louder than the ipad's according to Gsmrena

          the xiaomi supports wifi 7,as opposed to just wifi 6e on the iPads

          number 5,
          The xiaomi has a much higher screen resolution even though it is an lcd

            Baldilocks73, 03 Jun 2024Better at what? Being a doorstop?For being a quarter of the price, it nearly nails all the hardware that most people wont notice the difference between the two tablets. Only way iPad is better is cuz of its Apple software gimmicks and the "ecosystem".

Also Android is not fighting for the second place, because Samsung tablets especially already are as good if not better than iPads. DeX plays a big role in that and the fact that iPad OS is still garbage.

The iPad Pro 13 is the best tablet money can buy, but for me it isn't justified to pay about 70% more to buy it over the Galaxy Tab S9+. I don't think that I will fully utilize the M4 with the iPadOS, so even though the M4 is great, it's rather pointless in this case.

                    You will need to check the improvements ARE improvements. For example the last Pro models had TWO cameras, one an ultrawide. Sweep panoramas with the standard wide are good enoughish, but they are not possible with the ultrawide, as they are not possible with ALL modern phone ultrawides at whatever price if the sensor is quad-bayer (etc). Here , even with an iPhone , IPad, iPad Pro or any flagship phone, there is no excuse, as they have easily enough processing power. I note the reviewer does not mention Pro Res Raw abilities or whether it is available on this new iPad pro in iOS software, but unlike the top new iPhones, the iPad Pro from 2022 has NO software to do Pro Res in it, and Apple force you to purchase a third-party alternative for both Pro Res Raw, and even the simple ability to save your photographs as RAW files, which greatly aids dynamic range, colour balance, exposure, everything, as well as avoiding the dreadful textures on foliage etc caused by Apple's special sauce!
                    There was a pro colour setting on the late 2022 iPad Pros. I expect you will find it here, but, again, it falls down spectacularly as it makes the screen so dim it is unuseable for any corrections in any file, AND you cannot adjust the screen yourself to make it brighter.
                    Of course we all want Apple OS on these Pro iPads!! After all, an M2 or M4 chip completely outclasses all other processors, so as with a high-res sharp-lensed ultrawide that does Sweep panoramas (which the 2022 models most certainly is not!), this is certainly an inexcuseable deal-breaker, as even with Apple's own wireless mouse, you cannot even right-click on a junk file in mail to delete it. iOS17 forces you to open the file before deleting it, and this risks malware and the dreaded sextortion emails telling you they have installed Pegasus and you have to pay them $1200 in Bitcoin, whatever that is. iOS on an iPad is not yet ready enough for ordinary use. Otherwise it is a lovely thing, especially with the Apple Magic Keyboard and the pencil.

The iPad Pro 13 is better, but it's about 70% more expensive. If you can wait, it's nonsensical to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ this year, though, because the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ should be released early next year.
