"Exynos 2400 is a flagship chip, whereas the SD8s Gen 3 is an upper-midrange chip with slightly less powerful GPU." What? ChatGPT writed this review? Which Snapdragon CPU is "high range" soo?

Conveniently this review for the REALME GT6, the CPU thermal stress test was just 15 minutes, where here in the reviews of two of its main competitors XIAOMI POCO F6 PRO and Motorola Edge 50 ultra were 60 minutes.

Before talking about the GT6's good performance in this test, it's best to put it on equal terms with the other competitors to see if this is really confirmed.

          It has a glass back

Going to guess that it won't be sold in Vietnam since Realme is still flogging the old GT 2 Pro here for nearly $700.

Also go read the review (https://www.gsmarena.com/realme_gt_6-review-2712p3.php), you'll see it mention :
"We carried out our usual display test with and without the Extra Brightness boost. The maximum manual brightness without the boost was 564 nits, while we captured 940 nits with boost. The automatic maximum brightness was 1,483 nits.
According to Realme, 6,000 nits of peak brightness can be achieved by using 1% white screen and super bright light in front of the ambient sensor."

I wouldnt recommend this phone. Its too expensive for its specs. I'm a Indian reviewer and here are my recommendation:

                      Need camera?
Tecno Camon Premier. Has a better build quality and design, a x3 zoom periscope camera, a solid AF ultrawide and front camera. While its cpu is slower, a 960k antutu vs 1.6m antutu is not noticable unless you are playing heavy games. Price is a lot cheaper too.

                      Need performance?
Poco F6. Has the same SD 8s Gen 3 with excellent cameras without the zoom lens. HyperOS is also really good. Price is a lot cheaper.

Too expensive for both of those?
Poco X6 Pro. Its cheaper now and still has a Dimensity 8300 ultra (1.2M+ antutu) so it still has flagship power. You can buy two of these for one garbage Realme GT6.

                      Conclussion:
Only a Realme Fan will buy this overprice phone.

Rafe, 20 Jun 2024in that case just reduce the brightness. easy !user cant set this highest peak it is done only by phone when on sunny day..
I have on mine oppo reno8 pro same i is done by stages. 500 nits (typ), 800 nits (HBM), 950 nits.. I cannot set screen to 950 it will only be done by phone itself.. I can set it max to 800

BUt I was arguing screen size not screen brightness..

potato4k, 20 Jun 2024Really don't understand what Realme is trying to achie... moreit all goes back to preferences.
if you want a good non-gaming gaming phone (is that even a thing?) but don't care about the camera or other things, go for the f6
if you want a good overall camera system go for the V30 Pro
but I agree with you, realme pricing for the European market doesn't make sense.
I got my GT Neo 6 for only £232 and the only difference as far as I know is the camera system.

There are portable monitors from Asus if you need bigger, but then you have to carry it everywhere. 😛

6,000 nits isn't that overkill ?? will drain battery in no time...

Really don't understand what Realme is trying to achieve with this phone.

SoC for gaming? Poco F6 has the same SoC and it's cheaper. So why should gamers get the GT6?
The camera? What's the point when only the main camera is decent while the rest are mediocre? Vivo V30 Pro has much better setup + Zeiss.

And it's not like the price is cheap. I mean when you can get an actual Samsung Galaxy S flagship with much better build quality and software, you're not a flagship "killer." The "AI" stuff is not even AI nor machine learning.

Seems like typical with Oppo/Realme, the marketing is strong, but this thing is just another mediocre Realme phone.

Only thing I like: The pictures from the main sensor LYT-808 are really pleasing. It shows that sensor size still matters. Noise is very well contained.

Things I dislike: The camera island, the price.
