Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 hands-on review

blue, 10 Jul 2024Haven't been here for some two years and... guess what... moreTo be fair, charging speeds are still a very relevant argument. Who wants to take a long time to charge their phone? Yes, 1h24m is long, I think most people will agree.

No single crease.. hmm kind of rare for a Samsung foldable

      "Wider" they say, hmmm... 🤔🤔🤔

Even if it is wider than the 5, it still looks too long. For a display that feels normal, they need 20:9 at the very least.

No single crease wow.. now the dummies can atleast shut up.

Deep disappointment with Galaxy Z Fold6.
For inexplicable reasons, Samsung makes the race in compactness.
Mini compact Flip6 and similarly compact Fold6.
WHY !!!!!????? I want the maximum user experience for my money. And it starts with a large display. ĥ
That's the reason why I'm not buying Galaxy Z Fold6 and I'll use the money for a better brand.
After all, who needs a compact and expensive Fold6 with a 7.6" display when the regular S24U is almost 7".
Samsung has no idea who its paying customers are and makes models for poor teenagers.
          It's Samsung's fault
I had €3000 set aside in the hope that FOLD X ULTRA would FINALLY arrive.
I was hoping for a Galaxy Z Fold X Ultra with 6.7" folded and more than 8" unfolded. And there would be room for a larger flashlight and an S-/pen.
So I don't like to end up with Samsung.
Honor Magic V3 will arrive in 2 days and I hope it is worth putting my money there.

the camera bump going to near same look as SONY Xperia 10 V . This is already predicted before by someone in gsmarena. That guy guess is correct.
              .

blue, 10 Jul 2024Haven't been here for some two years and... guess what... morePeople are spending approximately £1000+ for these devices. They should be ensuring they should be getting everything they can. Its amazing how a £130 phone has more features than a phone over £1000

At this point, folding phones are far better than regular phones. Except for the cameras, those still need work

Seriously what a joke, Samsung still selling 2-3 year old tech and at a higher price???...
Fold 6 is no different than Fold 5....or that of fold 4 to an extent...
Waste of money if you buy fold6

Modest improvement and upgrades but the question is how do these modest changes excite someone enough to spend £1800 or 2000 euros to get one? You need some special wow factor to get someone to spend 2000 euros on a phone. Not modest improvements.

This dark blue color is cool af. Hopefully it arrives on the 25U as well

The Oneplus Open still trumps this fr, better and larger cameras, bigger battery and a more usable outer screen. The only concerning thing is the chipset but otherwise Samsung took a year to try to catch up to a phone and still fails

The cover display of the flip 6 could have be a bit bigger. That way you wouldn't have to flip open the phone for nearly any task. Plus I would prefer a squarish display and not one that goes around the camera causing the content not being displayed fully on your screen just like pictures by GSMarena hands on photos where the bottom part of the messages/conversation is missing.

Fold 6: it's positive that Samsung moved away from that unpractical aspect ratio for the cover display. But still oppo does a better job with their find n line foldables. What I like about the inner big display is the fact that it comes with no punch hole. Just big screen with no holes. Great 👍

May as well attach fold screen replacement to your phone lol...

25 W charging in 2024...what the hell Samsung? M55 has 45W charging. My 3 years old Nord 2 has 67W charging. Realme Narzo 70 Pro at 15k INR (~190USD) has 67W charging. I can't believe this nonsense.

Will Samsung fans scream here that 22:9 for the flip is too long?
Or say something about 22.1:9, outer display or double 21:9 inner display in Fold?
Because in Sony comments they go nuts about their cinematographic 21:9 aspect ratio. Where are this double standards?
