Too many of us armchair presidents and ceos here and nobody backing up even stronger statements like yours. Personally I've never stated I'm buying x over y without actually doing it!

    Why do Samsung Knights go on and on about 7 years of support when as soon as next year's models are out there beating down Samsung's doors with their Coupons and trade ins hoping this year's phone is finally what they hoped for and better than Chinese!

I used to like Samsung, then Oneplus then Samsung again and now I'd rather get a Nothing Phone 2(a) than an S24 Ultra simply because I don't want to give money to an evil company that tries its best to leech its customers. If Samsung's mobile division gives us next generation tech for the same price as or a lower price than the competition, JUST LIKE THEIR OWN TV DIVISION, I'll support them and respect them. Now they only disgust me.

                        Vivo is definitely class leading. I got the x100 ultra, it's a phenomenal slab phone

Yes, you... moreEven as someone who strongly advocates for at least 7 years of OS updates, preferably 10, I still think that's not enough of a drawback to sway me away from this device. I would never buy Samsung's foldables precisely because the hardware is weak, so their software updates aren't good enough of a positive on their own to make me buy a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 instead of a Vivo X Fold3 Pro. Let's face it, Samsung has very few advantages here.
