If your job doesn't let you carry a 6.5" slab because (presumably) you don't have safe enough pockets for them, a delicate foldable thing with plastic screen isn't going to cut it either.....

The only difference is the core arrangement. 8s Gen 3 has more A520 efficiency cores than 8 Gen 3. By right, the 8s Gen 3 should have better power efficiency than the 8 Gen 3.

Premium design with Xiaomi's Dragon Crystal glass.Outstanding foldable screen with high resolution, dynamic refresh rate, Dolby Vision.Excellent outer cover screen of similar qualities.HyperOS is a great software package, highly customizable.Limited market availability.The GPU stability is worse, unfortunately. The 3D Mark stress test ran for about 5 min in full speed and then the software didn't even had time to throttle - the phone went straight to OVERHEATING and stopped everything.

There's something that bothers me about the active battery rating result. While it is far better than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, I expect it to beat the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra since it has the same battery capacity as the Samsung. My only guess is either Xiaomi's higher-density screen on both sides or the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 produced compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The OS could also be a factor, but I won't comment further since I still don't try out HyperOS or Hello UI.

After the experience with the Mi Pad 6.....You need to have a Xiaomi to fully understand how poor is the overall UX experience...Hyper OS leaves a lot to be desired and with tons of bloat.....You may the debloat etc but you need to spend time etc..... And there other nigles with it...Hyper OS users know what i´m saying....
In the end it´s up to the end consumer if they want to spend 1300€ on a Xiaomi device, or in a Samsung or a Motorola.....Or other alternatives, but for me at this price OS and support is the most important, and not core specs.....But that´s me

Even with... moreThe main variant:
- Downgrade the SoC to Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (still so powerful for everyday usage)
- Downgrade video recording to 4K @ 60fps
- Change the telecam to UW 50MP cam (zoom can use insensor maincam)
- Downgrade selfie cam to 16MP
- Downgrade storage to UFS 3.1
- Downgrade battery capacity (make it slimmer and lighter)
For cheaper / Lite version.. Also downgrade:
- Downgrade to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (still quick for everyday usage)
- Use 12 MP UW cam instead of tele
- Downgrade selfie cam to 12MP
- Downgrade storage to UFS 2.2
- Use only 8GB of RAM
- Downgrade external screen (maybe just like Nova Flip)
