Camera has improved since launch.
Portraits are extremely good, even at night and maintain so much subject clarity and maintain bright foregrounds and incredibly blurred backgrounds
Zoom is better on the Camon 30 Premier but the 14T's zoom is very close as well, 4x being a perfect sweet spot
It's also faster and has better software than the Camon

Overall it's a good all-around phone if you can get it for around 400€. Battery life is not that great for 5000mah and camera transitions are bad (maybe future updates can fix things). Performance and display are great while the phone is not overheating. You can get really nice photos especially if you know when to use Leica's authentic or vibrant modes.
For night photography I will only use the main sensor as it gives clear images. Video is OK if there's good lighting conditions but there are enough artifacts.

14T 512 GB in my country is around 450euros after conversion. But with promos, discounts, voucher etc you can get it for as low as 400 euros. And it comes with a 67w charging brick!

"very good for an ultrawide camera" has me switch off instantly! Ultrawides capture 4x the area at the same distance as the main cams and MUST therefore be able to capture 4x the detail!
This is easily done with a much bigger sensor and a good lens, but here we see Xiaomi & Leica so degrading the reputation of the Leica branded lenses (Summilux for Heaven's sake!)
with a sensor that needs to be at least 80MP if quad bayer (only 20MP actual resolution) that you wonder why manufacturers bother to add an ultrawide of such dismal quality at all.
I am looking at these results on an ancient 21" 1080p LCD iMac screen from 2011, and so far no ultrawide lenses match their main cams no matter how much you pay for a phone, but even so, this ultrawide has a lot less than 1080p HD resolution and would disgrace being seen on an ordinary HDTV.

It would be interesting to know between the Xiaomi 14T and the Nord 4 on who takes better photos than the other (sharper, better dynamic range, better skin tones, better low light, better white balance) and a better video recording quality?

As soon as I read "plastic frame" my brain turned off. At this price it's a gross misconduct to put a cheap plastic frame on this 600 phone when others have a way better build.

this is outstanding phone! i really regret buying iphone 16 pro max b4, this phone can do exact same job with one third price of an iphone 🤷.
