Xiaomi 14T review
Introduction
The Xiaomi 14T is what a flagship killer looks like these days. It is a premium smartphone with top-notch features such as display, performance and camera, but without the extra value-adding non-essential tricks.
The new Xiaomi 14T introduces a refined, flat design, still IP68-rated as the 13T. Another thing that is the same is the 6.67-inch CrystalRes OLED screen with a 1220p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, and Dolby Vision certification. The only screen improvement per the official specs is the 4,000 nits peak brightness.
The Xiaomi 14T has an upgraded chipset, now Dimensity 8300-Ultra, with a newer and more powerful CPU, improved graphics and faster UFS 4.0 storage.

The Leica camera is what the Xiaomi 14T will be highly advertised for and its most important feature, as usual. There are still three cameras on the back with a new 50MP primary, followed by a 50MP 2x telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide imager. There are plenty of neat video-capturing features such as bokeh and Rack Focus.
The Xiaomi 14T boots the latest Android and HyperOS with a bunch of AI tricks, including Gemini. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 67W fast wired charging.
The Xiaomi 14T isn't a major improvement over the Xiaomi 13T - sure, there is a slightly more powerful and newer chip and a more modern sensor for the primary camera, but that is about it. This doesn't mean it is not one of the most interesting devices on the market right now. If only it had a better selfie camera, but it seems Xiaomi is still stuck here on its antic ways.
Unboxing the Xiaomi 14T
The Xiaomi 14T ships within a thinner-than-usual box, and our suspicions turned out to be correct - there is no charger inside!
What you get is a black silicone case, a USB-A-C cable, and a thin folio already applied to the display.
Xiaomi was one of the last bastions of the "always ship with a charger" slogan, and that appears to be now over.

Overall it's a good all-around phone if you can get it for around 400€. Battery life is not that great for 5000mah and camera transitions are bad (maybe future updates can fix things). Performance and display are great while the phone is not ove...

14T 512 GB in my country is around 450euros after conversion. But with promos, discounts, voucher etc you can get it for as low as 400 euros. And it comes with a 67w charging brick!

"very good for an ultrawide camera" has me switch off instantly! Ultrawides capture 4x the area at the same distance as the main cams and MUST therefore be able to capture 4x the detail! This is easily done with a much bigger sensor and...
