It also includes a big one, DESIGN QUALITY. Plastic is a Samsung from a decade ago. But what is expected from China these days is sub-par and the fan boys will still jump on it. Just like any product fanboy. Say what you want about Sammy and Apple however, their quality is something that a Chinese designed and built product will never come close to.

Yes maybe D8300 is cheaper but come on.. This is Xiaomi branding with Leica. People which wanna buy Mi produt with cheaper price, just buy Redmi n Poco. Xiaomi branding should attack Apple n Samsung.

So even Xiaomi stopped providing good value devices (or at least, outside India/China)
No brick in box is beyond terrible, Sony, Apple, Samsung and Google use PD standard, so any brick supporting that will do the trick.
Xiaomi like other chinese brands use proprietary tech, so a PD charger will probably stick to very low speeds (I remember it being 18 watt max) or you need to buy their own brick.
Which is a problem, I know some people that live in countries where Xiaomi even has their own stores, so buying a brick there will be easy.
Other countries like mine get fully ignored by Xiaomi accessory wise, buying such brick will bring higher cost because in my country you need to import the brick, even while Xiaomi does officially sell their phones here.

On paper these phones are awesome.
But somehow they always fall flat on the battery and camera. Despite the battery size being good and pretty good cameras too.
So is the sortware really that bad?

Only thing that is better is ultrawide.
Even ultrawide is ok on GT 6, not great but perfectly ok.

This really shows just how incredible the x6p (and by consequence the f6 and f6p) are for your money. You get better battery life, better soc perf, and similar everything else on those for way, way less money, only missing out on ip ratings.

Gusta, 30 Sep 2024Blunder by Xiaomi by not putting newer SoC. D8300 is last y... moreSd 7+ gen 3 is the same soc as dimensity 8300, but dimensity is cheaper. Soc is perfect for this phone, but other aspects doesn't get proper upgrade. I rly don't know who on earth would choose this instead of Poco x6 pro or Poco F6. Even Poco F6 pro with better soc and camera is cheaper, plus 120W charger in the box. Xiaomi lost compass with whis 14 series, including Redmi note line.

My condolences, but m... moreNow just because you plan to get this as your next phone doesnt mean im butthurt ..I've got a many favourite phone.. but a plastic built, sub par battery performance that seems to be an actual downgrade from the 13t and underwhelming soc gets a 4.3 ? When the best of the best rarely get south of 4.5.
Condolences aren't necessary thanks anyways , but I will apologise my my comment triggered..
