Docktor, 20 hours agoThey dont lag, they are just running slower through the years.They don't even run slower trough the years... people are buying cheap Androids and then complain it runs slow. Well yeah, of course it does lol It's a cheap phone.
If you buy an Android for the same price as an iPhone (1000€+) it will run flawlessly.
I've never had a problem with a Samsung S series, but I had problems with cheaper ones... wich is totaly logical.
So this "all Androids lag" talk has to stop. Good ones don't, bad ones do through time... as simple as that.

Useless you're stuck in the iOS ecosystem, those other phones are way more feature rich and value for money. 120hz displays refresh at twice the rate of 60hz displays, and phones (even budget phones) have moved on from 60hz displays. Are they bad? Maybe not, but definitely not flagship grade and you should expect more from the price Apple is charging for their phone.

There is something going on with this review.
For example, they don't really comment how bad 60hz is for such a device and their alternatives for the iPhone 16 is only other iPhones like Wtf??? S24, Pixel 9, Xiaomi 14????

Apple copied Sonys design for their xperia phones from last year. Just like almst every other thing from them.
Wow what a truly innovative company
Sony should really sue them for stealing their design for their xperia phones from last year to earn some money back and to show the world that they are actually the ones that deserve to be one of the best companies if not the best in the whole world because they are the ones who were pushing the smartphone market to new heights with their innovations (water reaistance, first 4k video capture, many more) and not crapple.

If you lack comprehension, the message clearly states that iPhone doesn't offer something that someone can't live without. Better processing power? most are good with what they have, included myself, better 4k? Only by a little, so what?
But the line can't compete with, takes the cake because only sheeple "compete" with their devices, when in fact most use their cameras for photos and videos for memories not for seeing an extra pixel.
You didn't provide anything that 99.9% truly need.
And android is integrated enough, I don't need that apple cage thanks, I am not a brand loyalist anyway.

Max, 30 Sep 2024You can still find everything you mentioned there in androi... moreIphone is very well programmed and ios is very well integrated with iPhone. 4k video files in iphone take up half the size or less compared to similar files in android. And no other smartphone can compete with iPhone in shooting videos.
Apple processors are so efficient that they consume atleast 30% lesser power than other chips to do the same tasks. Hence more tasks per watt.
Don't be that blind to see that iphone has always been an all-rounder even if it meant that it didn't have all the "nice to have" features.

This is a really good phone. Factoring out the price, it's something every potential buyer should try first hand.
Personally, the limited refresh rate is not much of a problem for me. What matters is that IPhone has the most smoothest animations you can find on any device, and this one is no exception. Apart from gaming, you'll find minimal difference between it's 60Hz and the regular 120Hz. 90Hz should've been a sweet spot though and I'm sure every IPhone fan would appreciate it.
The only downside is it's cameras, or to be more specific, it's ISP. The way it processes pictures are not really my style. Captures are meant to look stunning and vivid, not 'natural'. And the lack of a tele cam is not nice, Apple.

Only 2 camera’s…well you have a point there. Come Apple, how hard is it to throw one of those crappy 2mp ‘depth’ cameras on the back and then say there are 3 cameras. That particular trick has been working wonders in the Android world for years. Heck if I were Apple, I would not have bothered giving the ultrawide camera autofocus capability at all, and instead gone with the 2mp macro thing as well. Could have said they had 4 cameras then…🤷
