nion, 01 Oct 2024They don't even run slower trough the years... people ... moreHad an S23 for 2 years . One UI 6 lagged SO BAD , i would pull the notification panel and it would appear 3 seconds later. Moreover , it would NOT hold more than 3 hours of SOT per day and heated up like hell doing mundane tasks such as tiktok on 4G

The iphone 16 is a great phone dont get me wrong but heres the catch, a nice case that will have my camera control button save costs 55$ and if i get one that has no protection there it will cost me 750$!! its crazy, 60 youre noticing the 60 fps screen just a bit but the grahpics are good so its fine. the screen is good but it scratches so easy AND brakes, i have already repaired it 1 time and i got it in christmas present, the ai hasnt gotten to my country yet i can use it but ill have to change my software language and my siri language and when i do that its up to no good.

Come to see the camera review of the I16 after reading the one from the I16e?
Where was the reviewer of the I16e when the I16 was tested?
The difference in tone is like night and day for what are similar experiences.
Here the I16 has an excelent camera but the I16e has a camera that works, surprisingly.
Where does the truth lie?

The 60ghz screen is noticeable, there’s a lot of tearing of words when you scroll fast. It hurts your eyes initially then you’ll get use to it after a few days. However if you use any other phone that’s faster daily with the iPhone 16 you’ll never get use to the tearing. It’s such a waste to have 60ghz on otherwise a beautifully made phone.

People saying that it lags never had a good Samsung. It's the cheap ones that lag.
If you paid 300€ for a phone, than of course it lags after a year lol And don't tell me you had an S series either, because you wouldn't be saying stuff like that.

nion, 01 Oct 2024They don't even run slower trough the years... people ... moreIf you buy Samsung, it'll lag. Because OneUI is heavy on resources. If you buy Motorola, you should be fine for the next 3 years. My e40 still runs good.

Apple Intelligence is basically ChatGPT, so you can get that on any device. And, if you are not satisfied with Android design, install launcher or flash Custom ROM.

I don't see any differences from 15, except camera design. Only chip is different. And maybe that "fusion camera".

Also I doubt you will like iOS 18 new Photos app which is the worst photo viewer I had seen since the age of Nokia Symbian phones

nion, 01 Oct 2024They don't even run slower trough the years... people ... moreTurns out if one doesn’t install major system updates, Android will run flawless regardless of the price tier. The problem is users do not understand the basic concept of planned obsolescence and that companies will never sell them 300€ device to work for long periods, either the battery dies faster (like in iPhone SE which have WORST batteries I have ever seen in smartphones) or the software lags into oblivion

I highly disagree with the notion “ Foliage and grass look very convincing.”. I would go as far as say those look VERY UNCONVINCING. Grass literally looks like bunch of white worms ppl use as fishing bait (sorry). I think journalists and respectable tech blogs like yours should tell the truth straight into the Apple’s face: postprocessing is trash. Period. Aggressive noise reduction paired with oversharpening one hadn’t seen since the Galaxy Note 9 days is ruining the natural image. Coupled with very cheap looking autoHDR that is now impossible to turn off on iPhones you get strange image doubling artifacts like in the one of the building images in your blogpost.
You are my only hope, you must tell people the truth that iPhones no more produce beautiful and natural images. Back in the days I fell for this marketing scam and bought iPhone 11 Pro, honestly worst phone purchase ever. Not only my screen was defective and died in 2 years but also photos were always very blurry and overly noise reduced. RAW doesn’t help as well as takes a lot of time to perfect a shot that would have been otherwise ruined with Apple’s processing algorithms
