60hz display, way more important to people who read sites like this than it is to everyday folk.

Only 2 camera’s…well you have a point there. Come Apple, how hard is it to throw one of those crappy 2mp ‘depth’ cameras on the back and then say there are 3 cameras. That particular trick has been working wonders in the Android world for years. Heck if I were Apple, I would not have bothered giving the ultrawide camera autofocus capability at all, and instead gone with the 2mp macro thing as well. Could have said they had 4 cameras then…🤷

1) Small battery 3500mah category (needs to be recharged very often) 🤮
2) Only 8GB RAM 😒
3) Still using the old 60zh panels 🤢
4) Apple asks you to give them your liver to pay for this thing !!!
No thanks it can stay and get dusted on the shelves. Apple is releasing overpriced weak phones.

Iphones come with better battery life every year and that's a lot more useful to 99% of people.
I'm personnaly tempted to switch from S23U to 16 Pro for the similar battery life and camera quality in a reasonably compact phone. No Apple intelligence in Europe is annoying, though

60 Hz screen and no 8K camera on a "flagship" that costs 1000€ and up in 2024 is hilarious.
Since Steve Jobs died, Apple just can't be bothered to improve their phones.
But on the other side, people keep buying them every year... so it won't change any time soon lol

All Xperia phones still have the 3.5 mm jack and SD cards plus quite good battery while being on 120 Hz refresh rate. And where did you come up with the info that you can't sideload apps anymore on android? And even if you put all of those aside, android still have cheap options that work fine for most of the people needs. I have friends with iPhone 15 pro max that use it for tiktok and YouTube most of the time. You can do that on the cheapest android, so I could also put the question what does iPhone offer that android cannot offer, and you cannot live without?

gG, 29 Sep 2024if you have not yet think about it, one of the key factors ... moreWhen you factor in reliability, resale value, local and remote support, accessory options etc the Android "alternatives" aren't that great. There's also software compatibility issues.
I'd never buy a BBK product, outside of China, if I'd plan on keeping it more than 2 years.

IMO it's a great release for someone coming from an older iPhone like the 12. The colours are the best they've ever been and seem to match the original iMac colours which is fantastic.
I'm on Android at the moment but want to jump back to iOS so I'm looking at my options. Sadly at EUR949 it's very expensive and out of budget.\
So my local Apple reseller still has the 13 on sale for EUR600 so I might go for that if it's still in stock in 2 months time when I might have saved up enough. If not, the 14 costs EUR749 which imo is too much but I'll have no choice if the 13 is sold out.
In the EU Apple REALLY needs a cheaper iPhone on sale to entice people to iPhone. We don't have alot of money here in the EU which is why android sells so well. If Apple kept the 13 at a price of EUR500 they would see an increase in sales. Also, add in an SE at EUR400 and again, they would see strong adoption, because that would put it right in budget android territory.
Why get a xiaomi when you can get an iphone at the same price?
