What is the maximum pixel height of a panorama made with the standard wide-angle & with the ultrawide wide-angle. Not rocket science but not tested or tried GSM arena ?
This is vital information Apple does not provide anywhere at all, so please help us find out. Thankyou

Lister, 04 Oct 2024Nah, the 15 Pro Max gets over 2 full days from average use,... moreu mean 2 full [not using anything] days ? :D

Whilst we all can see unboxing videos, we have no part in their content.
By this I mean the boxes themselves.
Apple has chosen to place three camera lenses butted up against the external sheet of cardboard that is the top of the box.
The box itself is as tiny as possible. It has no foam padding protection at all, & is barely twice the thickness of the phone itself.
Does it ensure YOU get your new iPhone in perfect condition?

This comment section is mostly biased towards android and they just regurgitate what they are told. I am just against the flock who blindly follows (for the same reason i really dislike the teens with blue bubble green bubble stuff). The test that shows faster charging doesn't degrade the battery are dubious and their test methodology leaves gaps.
No wonder, a xiaomi redmi 13c user won't like a 15 pro max. If you know, you know.

-Trix-, 03 Oct 2024This isn't badly optimized Android phone, 8GB is more ... moreIt shows that you have absolutely no clue about how RAM works, nor about the cost for the manufacturer. Even Samsung who sparingly upgrade their phones have surpassed 8 GB already.

I really think there is an issue with either your audio recording setup or how you measure frequency response because the iPhone 16 pro max matches the Asus ROG phone Ultimate With subwoofer in low frequency response but the sound recording shows a very different story.

Xperia increases internal memory so not buying a phone with MORE MEMORY Point I.

Why do I comment then... Reearch I will invest probably a week before I upgrade (in Android) which the vast majority will be not just seeing the bullet point next to the price in a phone store be it Android or Apple

In this Nick Ackerman video he compares the iPhone 16 Pro Max to the S24 Ultra, he comments, you are not making a mistake picking one over the other, I am not one I do accept that many some are equally with either. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J6xwyx4Tbog

People especially the Apple Vineyard dwellers fixated on Benchmarks / Processors.
The 3nm A18 SoC is a beast, both Antutu and Geekbench Apple rules It is predicted that Qualcomm’s next will be 3nm?
Benchmarks alone are 1 criteria. Both these phones display similar speeds you are not be able to do something else waiting irrespective of the benchmark.

This is the 2nd review where only 30 watt Apple not 45W been ahieved as well as the sub 5000 mAh battery

For me this year Apple has made more individual tweaks which seem greater than I expected.
The point already made is you can and do see these features already in say Sony and Samsung FLAGSHIP for less than Apple (Buying not BIDDING).

Samsung S24 Ultra only this year increased the base memory 8Gb from 12Gb RAM. If 8Gb is not enough close some apps.

Also here complaints still re Apple battery, especially the amount of time for a full charge from flat.
Who fully depletes battery? and given what the vast majority charge "good" in 30 minutes make this a low priority. Many sleep for more than 2 hours each day.

In that regard, if you can't charge your phone, you're probably swimming. Is there anybody leaving their house not fully charged, no cable, and no access for 8 hours? Apple have never had the removable batteries!

Apple Ecosystem is you pay a high price for more memory and have to pay again to back it to the cloud.

Even though not launched, I doubt that Apple Intelligence will offer anything new or available uniquely to iPhone (iOs 18 didn't either)

Every year you get the report IPhone aren't selling well, then later record sales follow
You want my prediction no GUARANTEE! Before you see this in an Ice Universe tweet "IPhone sales in India will skyrocket!" The biggest YOY regional sales increase will be recorded in India.

For me however I am aware of the iPhone.

reviewer is gushing/praising at every instance rather than reporting things as they are

SIM ejection tool? so, this is a review of a non-US model.

-Trix-, 03 Oct 2024This isn't badly optimized Android phone, 8GB is more ... moreDude, there’s literally no excuse for a +$1,100 phone to be equipped with only 8GB of RAM.

iPhones are beginning to become interesting with these new sensors, but, as with last year's Tony Northrup adds wise words of caution because they are of 12MP resolution when using the lens at its own focal length, but that resolution disappears rapidly as you zoom, down almost to nothing before the zoom uses the next lens in the series and then you are back up to 12Mp again. 48MP is quad-pixel, not a real measure of resolution, though interpolation on the main cam appears to yield adequate 24MP results (but does this apply to the Ultrawide as well- I AM asking!).
I have a Nokia N8 from 2010. It has the same actual 12MP resolution as these new iPhones, but only one lens and its only good in daylight where it easily equals an iPhone.
16 MP gives much greater detail. So older quad-bayer phones with 64MP (16x4) will easily outshine any iPhone, but that of course does not account for the iPhones amazing video AND their unique feature, which is adequate Ultrawide panoramas with the 13mm lens.
I say adequate as, contacting Apple, I have no reliable info on their pixel height- vital to know how well they fill your screens! One advisor said 2260, another 4032 ( the horizontal 4:3 vertical size) and yet another advisor claimed 2886. However, even supposing the highest figure to be the true one we needs must take into consideration that a 12-13mm lens reduces image magnification at the same distance to well under half that of the 26mm main cam lens. Thus be be able to see the detail, and to record it, pixel height needs really to be in excess of 4000 pixels on a 4K screen. I get 3600+ from my LG but it is too small on a 5K iMac, and that is with a 16mm f1.9 lens. Please if you can try one out, post the results!!

                                        And a sense of style.

And, well, the screen calibration, the color accuracy, the two-step camera button (not that you've mentioned the details), the gorgeous front-facing speakers, the ability to add 1.5 TB, the 3.5 jack for professional headphones (true, they need an adapter), the clean Android experience, the perfectly design of the screen (with no camera-island or similarly ridiculous nonsensical marketing strategies) and so much more.

I must repeat myself: did you know that the image sensors on iPhones are Sony sensors? That should give you a sense of perspective and the chance to tone it down a little. And, also, the chance to spend your last year's economies on a new iPhone.

                                        Dixit.
