there is a lot of confusion here....HyperOS is not MIUI...everytime I hear complains about HyperOS they sound like saying: "I don't buy Samsung's phones due to faulty Galaxy Note 7 and no one at these days show me that was fixed !!!!!"

Bodygard, 19 hours agoWell yes, but that's the problem i've been saying... moreWhere I live the prices of the FE and the 14T pro are very close and are much cheaper than the S24+.

For me Between the s24 FE and T14 pro, I Would go for s24 FE just because I don't like the hyper OS, and with samsung you can records calls without announcement ( A feature I use a lot because of my bad memory)

hawkt, 21 hours agoi call bollshutIt seems that you have never owned a Xiaomi phone. But if you are planning to buy one just go to app settings, battery saver, no restrictions, and you can also lock the app open so it will keep always running.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024That may be so, but it's at the same price with the S2... moreWell yes, but that's the problem i've been saying in other comments: S24 FE's price. S24+ is much better and the 14T Pro goes toe to toe with it but wins against the FE.

"We also remember the days when FE stood for Fan Edition and gave us some fan-favorite features such as a microSD option and 'an audio jack', but that's no longer the case."

No FE phone ever had a headphone jack.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024Hey is it really that bad? I haven't seen significantl... moreI mean you can see the stability in the review here, it's quite bad, worse than the S24+ which this is supposed to "replace". That one comes with the unthrottled Exynos 2400 and still does better somehow. No clue how Samsung can fuck up this badly.

Still virtual proximity sensor, 8GB RAM, rigid OLED screen and no barometer?

Bodygard, 12 Oct 2024Really? From reading gsmarena review of the 14T Pro i think... moreYes, the Xiaomi 14t pro has better specs than s24 FE, but the hyper OS is less polished compared to one UI, the s24 FE has a bigger screen, tougher body, Dex support and if you are using a galaxy watch then a samsung phone is a better option.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024Phones weighing more than 160g are not comfortable to use. Then buy a low-end device

From reading gsmarena review of the 14T Pro i think it fares much better than S24FE not only in camera department but also in other areas like: screen, performance, battery/charging, more ram and costs the same comparing same storage.

In US and EU the price gap between FE and Plus is slight, but for South East Asia the price gap is huge.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2024Wrong answer, this is more like sub-flagship segment phoneWell, that's what makes a flagship killer, I guess. I mean, sure, it's ~ 750 Euros on Samsung official site, but I've seen prices go for as low as 570 Euros, brand new, with warranty, where I live. It is in a curious position, to be fair: if you want decent phone, you go for the A55 (~ 330 Euros) and if you want flagship, you go for S24 (~ 620 Euros). S24 FE... is the baby of A55 and S24, like that cutie Pratima from GadgetByte said. :D It's for those who want a bigger display on the S24, but can't afford the S24 + (~ 840 Euros). Again, this is the situation where I live. For me, the 570 Euros is a very good price. There's also Galaxy AI on-device, if that's important to you and also 7 years of OS updates. Sure, battery isn't that great and cameras could be a bit better, but I'd say it's a significant upgrade compared to S23 FE (especially when it comes to battery). Tried Xiaomi, really didn't like HyperOS. Android is becoming more like iOS: people are starting to prefer a certain UI - some prefer ASOP, others OneUI, others HyperOS, others BBK UI etc.. Besides, it just launched - I'm certain software updates will improve battery and camera, in time.
