vivo X200 Pro (global) review

this phone only has 3 flaws
1)the cameras Blue sun ray problem(it is real you can see it in yt camera tests)
2)software isnt as efficient and optimized as other brands like honor and samsung and Si/C battery tech isnt as advanced and efficient as honors
3)not many people know this phone exists
other than that its one of my favorite top 10 phones

    Yeah, this is not the best phone on the market, some people are too quick to judge this as the best phone on the market.

      It's hard to imagine that Vivo would put the X200 series at such an early point in time.Compared to the past, we can see that the X200 series has some new ingenuity in the arrangement of models. The newly added Pro mini positioning is not only a new surprise choice for consumers, but also adds another tier to the traditional structure of “medium, large and extra large cups”, under which the relatively traditional “Pro” positioning will undoubtedly usher in more challenges. More challenges will undoubtedly come under this premise.

        This is at least the best phone VIVO has ever produced.

          Is this a computed resolution based on sensor size, or actual resolved pixels/lines , taking into account the whole lens stack, the Bayer filter, the actiaö sensor and the DSP/software stack that processes the incoming raw image data?

          When looking at actual shot real-life resolution charts (video and still) that's what matters to me.

                  They don't go out and procure phones on their own and test them out of the goodness of their heart.

                  If you send a phone to them and pay for the test, they'll review it.

                    What a let down in the cam department. Here's hoping the 2025 "ultra" variants from Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi with the superior Snapdragon 8 Elite are clearly better.

It's a very well known fact by now that certain companies, especially Honor, pay them to rate their smartphones highly. They lost every bit of credibility they had for the past few years. So genuinely, you're wasting your time looking at their ratings. Their reviews are good, I'll give them that, but their ratings are just mostly lies

                        Is dxomark sleeping? They put on 1-day review phones like iphone, huawei always on time with always 1st time (strange?)... and they put also vivo x100 pro in the second 10.

And I don't blame them. 90% of users never change their photo settings while shooting. They don't even change white balance which is the most basic thing to do. What they do instead is fiddle with Instagram filters later on.

                                    Except 1" and those very exclusive like imx803, imx888 ( lyt800 / t808).

                                    Another way to make more money since 1 microlens above 4 pixels at once saves costs.
                                    Some omnivision have partial 2x2.
                                    Samsung has not used on isocell yet.

                                    Vivo has no reason to mention. Same way Apple does not say imx803 is DP with masked pdaf.

                                    Imx858 is 2x2 too.



                                      So, in a nutshell: The X200pro brings the stellar 200MP, 1/1.4", close-focusing tele-camera, which alone makes this phone one of the most interesting cameraphones in the market, right now.
                                      Battery life is good, screen is great, performance is stellar.

                                      All of that makes the X200pro one of the hottest and most anticipated cameraphone-flagships. Global availability and price will determine how competitive it will be compared to upcoming phones in 2025 such as Galaxy S25, Xiaomi 15, Oppo Find X8, Honor Magic 7 etc.

                                      All in all, great job, Vivo, really well done!
