Infinix has been selling this phone in Malaysia since release date and FYI, nobody buy it.

This phone cost RM2700 ($626) and with that kind of specs, people tend to ignores it as it doesn't exist. Meanwhile, Shopee (Similar to Amazon) is selling Galaxy Z Flip5 512GB at RM2499 ($559) and Galaxy Z Flip 6 256GB at RM3199 ($715). Those Galaxy Flips getting at least $100 more cheaper during sales and the lowest price ever hitting Galaxy Z Flip6 was RM2499 ($559). The aggressive pricing of Galaxy Flips overshadowing all flip phones in Malaysia including all chinese flip phones such as Xiaomi Mix Flip $1118, Tecno Phantom V Flip $648, Oppo Find N3 Flip $895

Infinix has outpaced rival affordable brands like Realme and Xiaomi by launching its first foldable smartphone, the Zero Flip, in India. Notably, the flip handset is priced at Rs 49,999—a figure previously unheard of for a foldable device. This is less than half the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 (review) and around Rs 15,000 more affordable than the Motorola Razr 50 (review). With such a competitive edge, does the Zero Flip live up to the promise of premium features at an accessible price? Read our detailed review to find out how the smartphone fares in terms of design, performance, and value.

I am and will forever remain a IPS LCD user. I guess that means no flip phones for me. Too bad.

Science reasons. LCD/LEDs can't bend. These crystals will break like glass under pressure. Only OLED can bend easily.

Was supposed to reply directly to whoever said "Why all flip phones use the cheap mediocre OLED screens?"

OLED screens are crisp and clear by design. There's no such thing as a bad OLED display

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2024If you know, you know. And you don't.I know:
                  1. The crease is obvious. No matter how good the manufacturer's propaganda is, the crease is still very obvious after using it for a period of time, whether it looks or feels
                  2. The screen ratio is weird. Whether it is Flip or Fold, especially the Fold phone, a square screen is very uncomfortable to watch videos and play games
                  3. The weight is too heavy
                  4. Software adaptation problem
                  5. It is impossible to apply a tempered film, so the scratch problem cannot be avoided.
Of course, the above is my personal opinion. People who like foldable screen phones will naturally buy them. I am just expressing my personal opinion

Nibol Young, 21 Dec 2024I still don’t understand the significance of foldable phone... moreIf you know, you know. And you don't.

Ae, 21 Dec 2024Infinix, Tecno and Itel are made for budget. What did you expect?Do i suggest for sky high blody powerfull cpu ? The Dimensity 8300 is also fall in the budget category. Infinix chinese counterparts have that cpu for the budget midrage phone. This flip phone official price set for $600, while that midrange phone original price is fall in sub $300.

I still don’t understand the significance of foldable phones. No matter how the manufacturers promote it, the creases are obvious after using it for a week.

If it performs the way it should with lower price compared to the competition then this is a good phone. People are not buying this phone not because it can't perform but because it's not mainstream. People becoming BIASED on their opinion just because it's not damsung or cupple. It's the collective mentality of people of this age. People will get triggered but I don't give a f*ck.

This phone is using a Li-Polymer battery as opposed to a Li-on battery. I get why Samsung decided to go the route of solid state batteries and I believe it has a higher ceiling than silicon-carbon, but it is frustrating to see tangible progress in battery tech as opposed to reading about expectations.
