These comment sections reliably mock the iterative flagship ranges of Apple and Samsung, not always unfairly. But those years of iteration generally do at least produce genuine subtle improvement over time, including and perhaps especially on the software side.
Obviously the rugged phone market is an entirely different one altogether, but this... This is what happens when that polish doesn't happen. You get a phone with a 2010-spec 4.7" 720p LCD that can't even outlast 6.7" 1440p flagships with smaller batteries.

If it was made by Xiaomi, it would have at least 8000 mAh battery with that thickness. Even more with si/ca battery.

Think about this:
The Xperia 1 VI, with a smaller battery (5000 mAH), and a higher-res, larger display, demolishes this on the battery test.
Really showcases the importance of software optimization.

Yes the punch-hole camera in that amazing IPS LCD screen is a disgrace. They should've placed it somewhere else outside of the screen.
Also I am disappointed by only one single speaker on the backside and no subwoofer. And the price should be $100 less.
On the other hand I'm impressed by the barometer, the infrared camera, fm radio without the need for an antenna etc.
Overall I can recommend this phone to all people.

I want this to be my new personal phone. I really like compact phones since I had a Google Pixel 5. I don't see the need to have that much performance but i also think this phone is kinda overpriced. also with the GCAM this phone could get the same nearly the same performance as a Google Pixel in photography

Now the only 2 questions are:
Does it have a way to lock apps in the quick switcher out of the box? (stop apps from being closed automatically when you hit "clear all"). Like found in OxygenOS,OneUI, MIUI and a few others.
And can you block apps access to both WiFi and Network data (as well as both at the same time) like found on old OneUI 2.5 and on Unihertz devices.
Please don't confuse this capability with VPN apps or Host file/Dev option options out there.

More proof that a good sensor needs good processing to produce good images. The GN1 is still a really good camera sensor and it produces shockingly bad pictures with Ulefone's software
