I bought the 13 Pro+ 12/256 last month for just ₹25K. I was a little upset when I noticed the 14 series coming this month, but now that I've read the specs, I'm very happy about my choice. The LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 are a huge difference that the new series lacks. This more of a downgrade.

I stopped reading this article when you said 'no macro'.
No macro=no deal. I am sorry Xiaomi XD

I remember back then when the hands on for the Indian 13 Pro+ something similar happened with the cameras, they had this magenta tint. I guess it was fixed with updates but Indian firmware always appears to be rushed, dunno why

Oof, they forgot to turn off analog binning for 2x mode.

That really turned out to be worse than I expected, given that on paper it should be at least a somewhat great experience for a mid-ranger. The display is great, even if its curved and the colour accuracy is a bit questionable; and the battery life sounds like it's absolutely amazing. However, the main camera is a slight downgrade, and the camera software is simply mediocre at best and awful at worst; and the charging speeds are a significant downgrade (though that's at least somewhat understandable). The lack of UFS 3.1 at this price point is where it gets unacceptable though.
