Based on GSMA's reviews, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is better than this.

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2025People like you won't get it, or refuse to. Everyth... moreYou're right, but you're also wrong. All companies around the world work on the principle of maximum profit, minimum investment. If someone really cared about the end user, Samsung and Apple wouldn't sell such overpriced products... Secondly, smartphones today have little in common with those from, say, 10 years ago. Today's processors consume many times more energy and emit many times more heat. That's why a large part of the phone's volume is taken up by the battery and cooling. It's not like there's room for everything. At least now phones are equipped with 2, 3, 4 cameras, not one, which also take up space. It's not just that I want an SD card slot, here it is. I need space on the circuit board and wiring tracks on it. Yes, from time to time some manufacturer performs miracles and releases a top model with one of the things you're missing. That's why you either buy from them, or move forward and adapt to market trends. And no matter how much you complain, no one will make you a phone exactly according to your requirements.

Everything that he said was something all phones had that made them usefull tools, some would say smart as in "Smartphone"
Instead of making this things better they decided to remove them for profit.
And your comparison - cd players came out, what, 40 years ago and I can still buy a casetteplayer if I want to. Where are the smartphones will all the features? Jack, sd slot, fm radio, IR blaster ...
When wireless headphones and cloudstorage will be 40 years old we should be able to still have all this then, by your logic, right?

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2025Good review. Nice looking phone but here are the cons: ... moreI sure miss having DVD reader on phones. Ah good times. And removable batteries. Not to mention physical front button like older LG/Sammy/Apple devices.

sdkk, 09 Jan 2025300 euros more is unacceptable to me. After all the reviews... moreX200 non-ultras in fact use same front cam sensor as xiaomi 14t series, isocell kd1. Isocell jn5 or ov50m would be better, because of avoiding 32 mp nonsense.

Got the 50 quid pre-order deal thinking it was a better one that you can get at launch to then see new orders get 100 quid off...
Tried to get the launch price plus the 50 quid, not allowed.
Also the UK version comes without a charger.
Given the UK price point, not including a charger and under all reviews falls behind direct competition it was a no brainer to pass on this new model.

jiyen235, 09 Jan 2025That's because the X200 Pro is plenty good enough and ... more300 euros more is unacceptable to me. After all the reviews and comparisons of the two phones. Yes, Vivo takes brilliant macro photos and great telephotos, but selfies are bad. At times it looks like a frame from Cartoon Network... The colors of the 1+ photos are the closest to real ones for me, it also takes brutal photos of moving objects. Add to the equation the better hardware of the 1+ and software and I completely forget about Vivo. For me, the overall experience is always important, not just to make photos.

Aierlan, 09 Jan 2025Yeah. You could also look at it though from the point of vi... moreThat's because the X200 Pro is plenty good enough and has the best zoom cam out there and other cams are just gonna use the same cam. Unless you want a better UW cam, the X200 Pro is good enough and going for other phones isn't gonna be worth it. Idk much about the Find X8 Ultra, looks like it'll be a mid upgrade, the Xiaomi is gonna have horrendous battery as always and the X200 Ultra won't go global.
Basically, you get a GREAT phone with the Oneplus 13 with GOOD cameras. For 250 euros more you get a GREAT phone with GREAT cameras, if not the best rn, with the X200 Pro. For 200-300 more you wouldn't be getting much, imo at least.

jiyen235, 08 Jan 2025cheaper screen and cheaper processors don't really mat... moreYeah. You could also look at it though from the point of view that the Vivo x200 pro is 1299 euro so if adding 250 euro is not a problem why not add another 200 and wait for the ultras like the Xiaomi 15 ultra and possibly Oppo find x8 ultra or Vivo x200 ultra (if they get a global launch although I've a feeling only Xiaomi will launch their ultra model globally).

bormat, 08 Jan 2025EU just mandatory every smartphone to have USB-C charging. ... moreIt seems though that all Chinese brands aren't shipping with the charger in the box now in the EU. Xiaomi stopped it with the 14t series, Vivo doesn't ship with charger in the box for the x200 pro (in Spain anyway) and now Oneplus. You can buy the 120W charging kit on the Oneplus website though. I think it's likely we won't see any chargers in the box in the EU for phones launched this year as in their latest launches (at least in high end series) they have all not included chargers. Do you know of any newly lauched phone that is shipping with a charger in the box in the EU?

Good review.
Nice looking phone but here are the cons:
no IPS LCD screen
no sd card reader
no 3.5 mm audio jack
no FM radio
too expensive considering the lack of features
not enough features that would justify that horrendous price
no buy
NEXT model please!

Aierlan, 08 Jan 2025In Europe but I think will be the case for all phones launc... moreEU just mandatory every smartphone to have USB-C charging.
They're not stopping manufacturer to give you free charger lol
What's funny is that OP 13 needs proprietary charger and to get 100W charging speed that they advertise but don't include it in box and can't order because don't have on website.
So you actually can't charge your OP 13 at max speed at all.
It's just stupid decision

Battery life is disappointing in web and gaming compared to battery capacity. Maximum brightness outdoors is a shame at this price point.

Seems like the OnePlus 12 is a better deal especially since the 13 throttles down to 60%.
Curious how the vivo X200 Ultra will advance the photos and vids without plastering it with AI. (I noticed some AI portraits change the person's looks and I think we've been beautified enough.) The same goes for the audio and the 3.5 jack could do wonders for audio quality.

Reno, 08 Jan 2025If it was flagship, it wouldn't have a worse camera se... moreFirst things first
There's no such a thing as "bbk" anymore. It's just oppo and vivo.(just google it)
Then the flagship thing, are oppo x8 pro, vivo x200 pro, Xiaomi 15 pro, the upcoming s25+ not flagships? They aren't even the base model flagships out there! Flagship isn't only the ultra models. Compared to oppo, it has better SoC and fp reader and other things are almost the same except for one extra 6x zoom camera, compared to vivo it has better display better SoC better SW support, worse camera. Samsung it's out there yet, but if it isn't going to change camera hardware, OnePlus has the edge on main camera, far better telephoto and probably battery life. and Samsung would be a better one for uw and longer os support.
It is clearly what anyone would call flagship. But yet, we all loved OP for being cheaper. There is 13r for that reason.
