GSM Arena are you sure that oneplus 13 does not have eSim support ? since support from oneplus told us it has

hmm this phone doesn't take telemacro shots and that's somehow a con? how about the pixel 9 pro xl,which is far more expensive, or the s24 ultra or even the 16 pro max?

This is a cheaper flagship. Compare it to its direct price competitor, the S24+.

Ahhhh the poor little "startup" OnePlus...how far you have come!
I remember back when you were so "poor" you couldn't make enough phones and had to make everyone get an invite, prior to buying one. Ahhhh the good old days! The OPPO Find knock off OnePlus One.
My last OnePlus was the 7T. Gave up on them because the bang for the buck is GONE.
Try trading one in and see how much you get...next to nothing.

I just want to say - thank you OnePlus for finally bringing back flat screens to flagships/flagship killers. I'm so F-ing done with other brands (including OP too) making curved screen a priority. I've used one in the past (S6 Edge) and it was a horrendous period in my life... I might finally eye this as an upgrade from my oldie OP 8T.

Damn OP, you really have fall... moreIn Europe but I think will be the case for all phones launched in Europe this year due to European ewaste regulations. At least that's what I've read on numerous sites but I haven't seen an article from an official source on it. The EU is definitely encouraging companies not to include a charger but I don't know for sure if it's compulsory not to include a charger in the box. Maybe somebody else could confirm?

Why pn 1st page esim support mentioned, and on last page lack of esim support?

Aierlan, 07 Jan 2025Don't really get the criticisms of the screen brightne... moreSo true, lately all gsmarena reviews are basically a glorified spec sheet with some basic tests sprinkled in.

They dont even bother doing any research of features that are unique/rare to each phone, that could set it apart from their competition. So dissapointing...

Don't really get the criticisms of the screen brightness. The gsmarena team comparing it with 1.5k resolution screens isn't very valid as 1.5k screens can achieve higher brightness than 2k ones. It should be compared more validly to other 2k screens e.g. the Xiaomi 14 ultra for example which has similar brightness and also uses a screen from a Chinese supplier (still Samsung 2k screens can achieves higher brightness than BOE or TCL ones). Also in your display review you don't talk about the actual quality of the display. Just spouting off technical specs that we get from the promotion materials. The only thing you actually talk about is brightness. What about other aspects of the display like sharpness, colour accuracy, viewing angles, flicker etc? It's quite baffling how this can get a lower score than the standard find x8. Better screen, better haptic feedback, better speakers, better main camera sensor (albeit video quality is not as good), better fingerprint reader (the find x8 cheaped out on a short focal optical fingerprint reader)

6000mah battery doesn't mean anything. It's the reason why most chinese phone have big battery (fanbois love it🤣) because the optimization is rubbish. I take 5000mah with 10hrs sot over crappy 6000mah any day.

Kinda shallow review, no mention whatsoever of some things that sets it apart from it's competition like 120 fps gaming, better ingame graphics, etc.

While AI slop is present in every device, there's some AI image edit that's very handy like removing glass reflections which barely any other phone has.

Is this the phone to replace the 9pro?
I'm charging up the 7pro to trade in

Definitely proves by looking at the review and comments, you'll never be happy with any new product reviews. Everyone has their own perspective of a perfect smartphone...But get nitpicky when "it" doesn't tick your boxes!

If they do not want to delight us with the 24 GB RAM phone in Europe, OnePlus will lose many customers. The cameras/video cameras are mediocre, middle-range phone cameras, the processor is the newest snapdragon, like enough phones, the prices continue to climb too quickly, it is not worth it anymore with actual specs, performances and prices. I wanted to buy a 24 GB RAM phone with a correct price. But so far there are not many 24GB models, but will be.

erotavlas, 07 Jan 2025Did they just copy paste this review from the Oppo Find X8 ... moreThey are also posting daily deals ads all over the webpage

                                      Looks like money is tight

The screen brightness is well below other flagships and also the frame rates in gaming bad while the price is on par with other flagships. If the price was €799 it was ok but no, so, that's not acceptable for a flagship.
