bormat, 08 Jan 2025EU just mandatory every smartphone to have USB-C charging. ... moreIt seems though that all Chinese brands aren't shipping with the charger in the box now in the EU. Xiaomi stopped it with the 14t series, Vivo doesn't ship with charger in the box for the x200 pro (in Spain anyway) and now Oneplus. You can buy the 120W charging kit on the Oneplus website though. I think it's likely we won't see any chargers in the box in the EU for phones launched this year as in their latest launches (at least in high end series) they have all not included chargers. Do you know of any newly lauched phone that is shipping with a charger in the box in the EU?

Good review.
Nice looking phone but here are the cons:
no IPS LCD screen
no sd card reader
no 3.5 mm audio jack
no FM radio
too expensive considering the lack of features
not enough features that would justify that horrendous price
no buy
NEXT model please!

Aierlan, 08 Jan 2025In Europe but I think will be the case for all phones launc... moreEU just mandatory every smartphone to have USB-C charging.
They're not stopping manufacturer to give you free charger lol
What's funny is that OP 13 needs proprietary charger and to get 100W charging speed that they advertise but don't include it in box and can't order because don't have on website.
So you actually can't charge your OP 13 at max speed at all.
It's just stupid decision

Battery life is disappointing in web and gaming compared to battery capacity. Maximum brightness outdoors is a shame at this price point.

Seems like the OnePlus 12 is a better deal especially since the 13 throttles down to 60%.
Curious how the vivo X200 Ultra will advance the photos and vids without plastering it with AI. (I noticed some AI portraits change the person's looks and I think we've been beautified enough.) The same goes for the audio and the 3.5 jack could do wonders for audio quality.

Reno, 08 Jan 2025If it was flagship, it wouldn't have a worse camera se... moreFirst things first
There's no such a thing as "bbk" anymore. It's just oppo and vivo.(just google it)
Then the flagship thing, are oppo x8 pro, vivo x200 pro, Xiaomi 15 pro, the upcoming s25+ not flagships? They aren't even the base model flagships out there! Flagship isn't only the ultra models. Compared to oppo, it has better SoC and fp reader and other things are almost the same except for one extra 6x zoom camera, compared to vivo it has better display better SoC better SW support, worse camera. Samsung it's out there yet, but if it isn't going to change camera hardware, OnePlus has the edge on main camera, far better telephoto and probably battery life. and Samsung would be a better one for uw and longer os support.
It is clearly what anyone would call flagship. But yet, we all loved OP for being cheaper. There is 13r for that reason.

Same price as Samsung/Google but not going to 7 years software support.
OnePlus wasn't supposed to be the one close to their clients/supporters and to provide to them best support and care?
Even if not much people keep their phones 7 years, comparing to competition doesn't help them.
If someone asked me, I'd say 5 years of major updates would be the best overall number. With 7 or 8 years of security.

Aierlan, 08 Jan 2025It's €1,299 though for the Vivo x200 pro in Europe whe... morecheaper screen and cheaper processors don't really matter. In games the performance is essentially identical, Juan Bagnell did some rendering tests and the Find X8 Pro was faster than the IQOO 13 and unless you only do heavy single core tasks, you're not gonna find any tangible difference. The only real chip difference is gonna be seen in app availability and optimization, but it's not like all android apps are perfect, even on my SD phone i get buggy apps that crash and sometimes don't start.
Screen is only about 2 things, calibration and brightness. Nearly every brand is nailing these aspects so i don't really see why someone would go for the Oneplus unless 1440p is a MUST. It's easy to see FHD as being less sharp but the difference between FHD+ and QHD is far less noticeable imo.
The main things i'd notice as negatives, compared to the Oneplus, are the charging speeds and the haptic feedback, it seems to me that Vivo's ones aren't really the best and Oneplus's charging is top notch. I agree with you that these phones are targeting different price points but apart from subjective software preferences, the Vivo is just a superior purchase due to the exceptional cameras and worth the price, considering the fact that the X200 Pro is available at 512 GB only and the Oneplus 13 is 1050 Euros for that variant, the difference is 250 euros, although a large chunk of change, it is completely worth it if someone wants the cameras, the Oneplus is a no-brainer for 90% of people tho tbh.

The off-centered hug circular camera bump makes the phone look so unbalanced in terms of the design. That makes the design look so awkward

You probably don't need to mention no SD card slot or no headphone jack nowadays as not having them is pretty much the standard now. It's obviously worth mentioning when it is present.

Anton .el PAPI., 07 Jan 2025vivo x200pro. best option! but bravo for onelus has put its... moreIt's €1,299 though for the Vivo x200 pro in Europe where it is officially available. Quite a mark up for the better cameras. Apart from cameras the Vivo x200pro has a cheaper screen and cheaper processor so the hardware apart from cameras is cheaper. I'd pick the Vivo x200 pro too though if it was the same price
