Just bought my new Redmi note 14 pro 5g,and I was happy because all the features are great the only problem is the battery is to fast to low so I always charge it every day

Just bought this phone. No problems at all. Battery, camera is a bit short, performance is just fine for casual gaming like mobile legends, auto chess and gogo muffin. I am not expecting too much for this phone because I only got it for only $350. Heating issues? There is, but not alarming. Kudos for Redmi for this.

Tori, 16 Jan 2025Why do you think Hyper OS is trash? I want to know your motives.Hyperos is just MIUI firmware with a lot of extra trashware on top which makes it very slow and not optimized.
Xiaomi should create brand new operating system from scratch like Huawei and they will become the king of the smartphone throne once again.

If I had to choose between this one or the Poco X7 then the latter is the better one. The X7 comes with the latest android and HyperOS version out of the box and it looks better, especially in the black & yellow vegan colour scheme (but that's a question of taste). Neither of them score well in the battery department however so it would probably not be something I would buy if I would be in need of a new device. There are other brands who do much better in the same class of devices, even with smaller batteries. If however the battery isn't a concern then why not. Nice devices.

So what has brought the redmis series' higher price over Poco series are exactly not essential. I am now thinking about sales promotion that gave Poco a breathing room for global sales against Redmis which already experience good sales so far globally. Hmmm...

For example, Poco X6 12/256 is $185 while RN13P 5G 8/256 is $230. That's like 25% difference for essentially the same phones (they even share the same codename and firmware) but with different camera setup, plastic vs glass backdoor, and e-sim capability.

I can only accept if the lower price which Poco has is because the lower quality than Redmi has. Thanks anyway for your response.

Redmi variant also sometimes have better camera, better build quality, and more ram/storage option. The prime example of this are RN13P 5G vs Poco X6, Poco M3 vs Redmi 9T, also RN14P 5G vs Poco X7. Poco also only available on developing countries and targeting tech enthusiast so they can set the price as competitive to other brands as possible and their phones will sell like hot cakes and got free advertising from those tech enthusiast.
