Spencer, 1 hour agomediocre battery lifebattery life suddenly becomes good if you unlock bootloader and flash custom MIUI ROM without all that bloated hyperOS e-trashware.

The real problem for me is mediocre OLED screen by Samsung 🤢 🤮

        No word on the always on display (or the lack of it) in the whole review ?! Specs say AoD, but I guess it's just the sometimes on variant again?

          So, this phone has an active use score of 11:39h, has a subpar chipset for the price, has a low res 2mp macro (completely useless), the main 200MP camera is poor, launches with last year's OS...

          And it gets a 4.0 star rating? How? How is that possible?

            practically similar performance as last year. And the same "meh" battery performance. But wait, it charges slower, and it lost the headphone jack. What it has gained is a polarising curved screen, a ip69 rating i bet many are indifferent to and a higher price tag. I'd rather take the Note 13 pro

                  So at this point, it seems they will never improve battery life on their sub-flagship phones.
                  It seems HyperOS requires a LOT of optimizations for every device, and Xiaomi is not willing to spend those resources.
