Us... moreOur planet is becoming an e-waste with all these unnecessary electronics models like phones with outdated chipsets. I can live through it, but I feel sorry for the future generations. They may as well move to another planet in the future, the dystopia is slowly coming here because of 8 billion population, whether we like it or not.

YourMother, 21 Jan 2025What? Bigger battery means bad environment? What type of we... moreBigger batteries are actually worse for the environment. Using the rough estimate that a 2000mAh battery uses about 8g of cobalt (sourced from NPR in March of 2018), this Redmi’s battery would use about 20g of cobalt. If Xiaomi optimized HyperOS more so they could use a 4000mAh battery, then that would be 4g less of cobalt. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but Xiaomi sells over 150 million phones per year, over 95% of which use a 5000mAh or bigger battery. If Xiaomi cut down on battery size, they could save 600 metric tons of cobalt from being mined per year.

really disappointing, 3 year old sensor in a row, and detach telephoto, proximity, big batter. Sorry for this but xiaomi global sucks.

Patres87, 21 Jan 2025So in contrast to the chinese version of this phone, Xiaomi... moreMore better to buy the 14T or even the Chinese/Indian version of the Note 14 Pro+

Biggest disappointment, just get Sony Xperia 10 VI instead. Xiaomi even don't put 7gen3 instead 7s gen 3 also no sd card support no 3.5 jack less battery endurance than Sony

So in contrast to the chinese version of this phone, Xiaomi reduced the battery capacity and removed the telephoto lens in favor of the 2 MP macro camera. Battery life is still subpar. This is one hell of a disappointment.

That... moreThe first retailer in Croatia that offered Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 series slashed prices for 15% and adds a heaphones and watch with the phone. So, the Pro+ 8/256 is 429EUR-os on initial discount. I think it is too much for one Redmi phone, especially when I can buy Samsung S24 FE for 499EUR.

vik457, 21 Jan 2025Inventories got too filled up with ov02b10 🙈😅Haha yes. I wish Xiaomi would equalize global models and Chinese models because the Chinese model look like a best compared to this one. Bigger battery and telephoto cameras is what we need at this price range.

How much they did messed up the flagship Redmi Note so much in this iteration that it feels like Xperia 10 VI is much more stable and doing better than Redmi Note 14 Pro+ that a Redmi Note should have been way better competitive , better compared to Xperia 10 series in the past (battery life, sidegrade in 10 VI compared to 10 V compared downgrade in 14 Pro+ global to its Chinese and Indian counterparts, more complete specs such as headphone jack, microSDXC card slot) and somehow this ended up worse? Like how?
