      rizki1, 21 Jan 2025get Xiaomi 14T or Realme 14 Pro+ far better phone..Better still, in big European countries like Germany and France the Honor 200 pro with snapdragon 8s gen 3 and almost flagship class cameras is also 499 euro for 512gb officially from Honor.

          Are you sure gsmarena? the only difference is the SOC and 5,110mAh and yeah the dowgrade memory from ufs 3.1 from 13 Pro+ down to ufs 2.2 now. Camera isn't great, Android 14 out of the box and Hyper OS 1.0.. C'mon!

            In this review, the Honor 200 Pro while more expensive provides much better value with a snappier chipset, better cameras and better software with MagicOS. Xiaomi is no longer the value king that it used to be.

              Redmi Note series is behind its glory days. It's usually the bang for the buck device that gives amazing specs for an affordable price. But now, it's no more but an overpriced generic phone. I missed the days of Redmi Note 8/9/10.

                Redmi Note series got bad battery life results these last years, I wonder why. Is it due to their software?

                    Agreed. Basically with new processor and nothing else.

                      get Xiaomi 14T or Realme 14 Pro+ far better phone..

                        Lower Antutu, lower 3DMark
                        Slower ufs 2.2 and ddr4x than the 13 pro+

                        How is this a 4.0/5.0, even a A36/A56 gonna be better

                          This phone is one of the biggest flops this year.

                            No UFS 3.1, still no periscope camera, no latest version of android 15, no 6000mah battery and 200mp camera is a scam.

                              "The handset is easy to use with one hand."

                              6.67" is "easy" to use with one hand? Funny. Then you complain that the fingerprint sensor is too low, suggesting that it's not easy to unlock with one hand.

                              Xiaomi phones were only appealing when custom ROMs were plentiful. HyperOS is worse than MIUI when it comes to battery life. The old Redmis offered decent cameras at a decent price. We're not seeing that anymore.

                                HyperOS is what happens when you listen to venture capitalists who want to cram genAI and ads into everything instead of listening to software engineers and designers who know how to make functional and efficient products

                                    It's quite shameful to have such low battery life with a very energy efficient Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with a 5110 mAh battery. It has slightly more battery life than the 2024 model and manages to last 1 hour of gaming... Very disappointing

                                      "Performance is not competitive, UFS 2.2 storage too"
                                      As long fans from early days of redmi, never I imagine that performance it is one of the weakness. Redmi well known for a better performance than competitors! And they downgraded the UFS 3.1 to UFS 2.2

                                        I definitely don't think this thing deserves a 4.0 and a "cautious recommendation". The subpar battery life alone should disqualify it from 99% of people searching for a new phone.
                                        Looking at the spec sheet alone, I can tell the cameras are dogsh*t. Selfie hasn't advanced even a bit since like the Mi 9 and it seems like 200+8+2 is the new trend, along with 50+8.
