You cannot customize those panels yourself, you will have to download them online. Other than that, Xperia is the same old Windows Mobile. HTC Touch FLO is way ahead of the game.

Funnily, the review doesn't mention this, but the memory card slot is on the right-hand side of the device - only it's under the back cover.

It is hot-swappable, you just have to remove the back panel to access it.

You can see the slot on this photo - it's close to the camera lens just opposite to the SIM card slot.

anthony, 04 Sep 2008nice review, been waiting for it for a while. Tho my mind w... morebro i know the tilt screen is amazing, i loved it on, a friend has had the tytn2 for around 6 months and he says that its amazing but it has a mojor problem with battery, he bought 3 different batteries, a original HTC-he said it was the worst, he bought a sharp battery which improved alittle and now he bought a Chinese battery which is better than both but still the phone only manages 3-4 hours only in regualr use, email, wifi and calling, thats it, you can't use GPS or camera at all it kills the battery, i'm sorry to be negative but bro before buying the tytn2 be sure to check it out on battery cause its a major let down, hopefully more 3rd party companies will make stronger batteries for the Diamond series and thats a good thing

nice review, been waiting for it for a while. Tho my mind was first set on a TytnII definitly, this review made me consider this phone as well. But the most important difference between the two, which funnily hasnt been mentioned, is the there is no tilting screen. Nd i can imagine this is so very usefull on the TytnnII!

So why hasnt this been mentioned??

Windows Mobile wars are at their fiercest and a truce is nowhere in sight with new recruits marching to battle as we speak. HTC Touch Pro is adding some heavy firepower to the Touch Diamond campaign for domination of the WinMo realm. The new pro by HTC is a true all-rounder, with multimedia and navigation just part of its ammo, and has every premise of becoming the most complete Windows-powered device to date. Armed and dangerous it is, but will it get a license to kill?

Daam man thats a slick start, sweet dude you rock

                              HI, guys!

Great review although I have seen most of the pictures and read most of the text already by reading trough the Touch Diamond review. But anyhow, after having read your review, I shortly called my provider (O2 Germany) and ordered one. They told me it will take a week or two, but as soon as I have played with it a while I will add my comments to that. By the way: I have found a great place for any kind of accelerator apps that can be installed on the device. Just check:

Second. Just for the fun of it and I must say I genuinely love the handset.
I currently have a TyTN II but would love to have T9 input option.
But I love the Touch Screen to much to make an early jump.
