Started with Galaxy S5 until S10 then I transferred to apple. From iPhone XS to iPhone 13 pro max. By the time samsung switched to snapdragon. I was greatly stalking up until S25 ultra came out with its overclocked chipset of snapdragon. Im a very hardcore gamer. With a very demanding game I love. I do really love playing PUBG (Player unknown battleground). Framerate stability. Overall handsdown to this phone. Even rendering videos where apple standsout. S25 ultra is the king. Thank you sammy

Using this for a couple of days now. Absolutely fantastic phone. Loving it hoenstly.

Bro, this phone may very well be one of the most disappointing release in Samsung's history.
Even Samsung knows it that's why they're gatekeeping One Ui 7

Many people who bought the same phone from last year keep saying that this one is much better when it's actually due to One Ui 7. Not sure why they defend Samsung as if Samsung gave their phone for free. Instead by trading every year they waste their money and think to themselves as they got a good deal but they know not that their filling the pockets of greedy corporations.
Sure you get better speakers, better battery endurance and newer chip but that is just very normal. Not a major improvement at all and happens every year anyway.

To make Galaxy great again, Samsung needs to do this :
                1. 16GB RAM in all markets
                2. new camera hardware(especially telephoto)
                3. carbon silicone battery
                4. faster charging
                5. latest display

Cake, 06 Mar 2025S25 Ultra has the shape of iQOO 13And you don't see a problem with that at more than double the price? They should've stuck with the square form factor, it looks so much better. Getting rid of the bluetooth support on the S pen was stupid idea as well. I'll stick with my vastly superior S24 ultra

Lots of china bots here, ready to downplay this in favour of home grown brands.
And why no mention of Samsungs Proscaler feature?

Is there a way to download raw HEIC images used for camera tests?
I would like to see images without compression, also see if Ultra HDR is supported.

Loving the s25u. Upgraded from a s23 the camera, battery, audio is a huge improvement. Luckily I didnt come from a previous ultra so I do care about the spen Bluetooth. All has been an upgrade. Specially the trade in program gave excellent value for the s23. Thanks for the review!

One of my biggest regret ever is buying S25 ultra.
Why the Spen downgrade when it should be upgraded. Samsung should better do well in S26 ultra else see them going to meet nokia where they are.

If you're a regular Ultra user, look elsewhere.

Struck gold with the new design? It's f*cking hideous! The square form factor is what made the Ultra stand out, and it looks so much better, the S25 Ultra looks cheap and tacky

Samsung Needs to Stop Handicapping Its Own Flagships

Samsung has been making some questionable decisions when it comes to its own flagship smartphones. It's frustrating to see them develop cutting-edge technology, only to hold it back from their own top-tier devices while supplying it to competitors. Take their camera sensors, for example. The ISOCELL HP9, one of their latest and most advanced 200MP sensors, was given to Vivo for its flagship X100 Ultra. Meanwhile, Samsung's own Galaxy S25 Ultra is still using the aging ISOCELL HP2, a sensor that first debuted in the S23 Ultra. Why is Samsung deliberately putting older hardware in its most premium phone while letting a rival brand showcase its best innovation?

It doesn't stop with cameras. Samsung is a leader in display technology, manufacturing the best OLED panels in the world. Yet, when it came to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, they used an M13 panel instead of the M14 panel that they supplied to Apple for the iPhone 15 Pro models. Why would Samsung offer its best display to Apple but not use it in its own ultra-premium flagship? A $1,300 phone should have the absolute best hardware available, especially when it's coming from a company that actually makes that hardware in-house. But instead, Samsung seems to be treating its own phones as second-class citizens while giving other brands access to superior components.

And to make matters worse, Samsung even removed Bluetooth functionality from the S Pen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, stripping away key features like air gestures and remote camera control features that were once considered selling points of the Ultra series.

It's a real shame, considering Samsung used to set the bar for premium smartphones. The Galaxy S series was known for pushing boundaries, introducing new camera tech, the best displays, and cutting-edge features. But lately, Samsung seems more interested in playing it safe, keeping costs down, and maximizing profit rather than delivering the best possible experience. Their strategy feels increasingly like Apple's recycling hardware and giving incremental upgrades rather than true innovation.

For a company that prides itself on being a technology leader, this approach feels like a major step backward. If Samsung continues down this path, hardcore fans and tech enthusiasts might start looking elsewhere maybe to brands like Vivo, Honor, or Xiaomi, which are now pushing the limits of smartphone technology more aggressively than Samsung. It's time for Samsung to put its best technology into its own phones first and stop handicapping its flagships in favor of corporate deals and cost-cutting.
