Luke, 06 Feb 2025No, s24u and s25u definitely have different displays. Just ... moreI went and checked, played with the adjustments in the settings, literally the same display,
Brightness, vibrancy, details, etc

Only difference that I saw was that some of the banding on the S24 Ultra was gone in the S25 Ultra. Apart from that there was proscaler and some minor tweaks. That’s all.

Most disappointing release in Samsung’s history.
Ai Ai Ai Ai …..

For everyone that wonders what Spen can do in S25U, after it lost the BT support/air actions.

GSMArena should have come with some review like this, but...there you go.

It isn't an Ultra if the charging+battery+camera+screen is worse than on Pros from other brands.

I don't see any of the issues you have mentioned. Where is it coming from? Have you even used this phone? Its a brilliant phone in my experience.

You are just copy pasting the same message under every post. I feel you have some agenda.

I bought the new S25 Ultra.Clearly don't see the reason why gsmarena gave this phone a score of 4.5 and at the same time they usually give better phones scores of 4.1/4.2/4.3 ,same applies to the iFruit phones.
With all the problems this overly expensive flagship phone has,i am really disappointed:
1.They went went for 8bit panel instead of a 10bit.
2.The panel has a flickering problem, causing eye fatigue.Already tested by me,my wife, aswell many other people on youtube and over the internet pointing out that problem.
3.Terrible sustained performance and overheating issues. Even on this review you can see the absurd CPU/GPU throttling with the phone losing more than half of its performance, which would have been somehow acceptable if it was a way cheaper phone, but not for one of the most expensive flagships on the market. They can't make up excuses for cutting corners like that.
Now for the ''N'' years of updates. So my wife is still using the S23 Ultra and guess what happened with the new OneUI 7 update. They gimped the CPU/GPU performance plus the battery life.Literally a year-year and a half after buying the most expensive flagship device, they start sabotaging it so you can buy the newest model. That is disgusting, what is the point of stating all those years of updates, when their clear purpose is to ruin your device so you can spend money for the new one.So after reverting back to the OneUI 6 ........."magic' , CPU/GPU is yet again what it used to be,the battery life has also returned to its regular behavior. Many people are complaining on youtube and other media about the exact same issue, pretty strange why gsmarena did not bother to cover that topic so far.
The iFruits are pretty much the same with each and evey update though, ruining the battery life to a point, which is no longer viable for normal usage, forcing you to buy the newest model.
As long as we keep buying each and every gimped and overpriced product, these companies are going to cut corners and force sabotaging updates,so they can sell the newest stuff.Be responsible how you spend your own money and take care.

I'd rather not have manufacturers IP69 their phones. It just makes the phone more expensive. And where is the average person encountering water jets? I think even IP68 is a bit far. Unless you're really clumsy around pools or at the beach using your phone while standing in the water (which begs the question why are you using your phone while in the pool/ocean?) IP68 isn't really needed either. IP67 is more than enough for 99% of use cases.

Bot10Exists, 06 Feb 2025the vivo x200 pro?No, oppo find x8 ultra will have better main cam, ultrawide, front cam, only camera where x200 might have edge is a telephoto and not that huge one because of focal lengths of 2 telephotos and sensor sizes with apertures on x8 ultra. Speakers, vibration motor and screen will be better too on oppo find x8 ultra.

Eliminating the Bluetooth on the S-Pen is just bad and wrong, you are still paying a premium price but loosing one of the best features, shameful.

The S24 Ultra display was worse than it should have been besides the anti reflective properties. Also I assume you are talking about M14 panels being the best because of the higher number? Samsung uses M13+ here which is newer AND made specifically for the S25 lineup.

They're the same display (maybe with minor tweaking in the S25 Ultra)

Not the displays used in the iPhone and Pixel which are Samsung's best display.

If I was to buy any of the new models it would most likely be the the s25+. No reason to buy the Ultra this year

Finally struck gold with the new design? you must be joking, it looks hideous with the rounded edges. the square form factor from previous models makes them stand out from everything else, now it just looks generic and tacky.

anonymous225, 06 Feb 2025Could phone companies improve the main camera, if they redu... moreWait, you mean like m4/3 sensor?

Could phone companies improve the main camera, if they reduced the number of cameras from 3-4, to 1-2?

Like, could they put 1 giant, more expensive, lens in the phone, that would be significantly better than small lens?

I never really realized that my phone has 3 cameras, and that I never really use the other 2. I think 1 is for zoom portrait, which I never do. And one I think is ultrawide/zoom out/panorama.

I'd gladly receive 1, incredible, main camera - if it meant giving up 5-10x zoom, and probably even panorama.
