    There isn’t anything new with any brand,they have hit a wall and the a.i bandwagon isn’t exciting people like it should.What this S25 ultra does bring is a nicer more comfortable design with a slightly larger screen but smaller body and better battery life while been lighter and faster and more durable.Now to me that is a decent improvement for a mature product and with the Samsung discounts I’ve managed to get a 512gb model for 800 pound.I do wish they had increased the screen size to a full seven inch and increased the battery size to 5500mah and dropped the 3x camera and added a 10x camera with the 5x camera.A 200mp sensor should give fantastic zoom range up to 4x so no need for the 3x.

            No, that is just Apple marketing. The 8 means exactly 1.5m + 30 min.
            That is standard.

            No, this phone looks even cheaper than previous that already did not have premium design.

              This 5000mah battery in samsung actually on par with 6000+mah 'better technology' in chinese brands phone lmao

                    5 years of same hardware in almost everything and you give it a very high score. Someone stinks fishy.

                      4.2 - 4.3 would be fair not more.

                        Context is important. On its own the S25 Ultra is a good phone. But once you begin to factor in it's predecessor and competitors you quickly realise that it got nothing special going for it really. It's a jack of all trades, master of none.

                          The rating does not match with the review. The phone is a side grade compared to the S24U. In some cases the S24's camera even seems better optimized. Accurate rating is in the 3.8-4.2 range. Anyway this convinces me to wait for the Chinese trio to bring their best, as they seem to be the only ones trying. The only hope is it happens before the tariffs hit.

For me the changes are big and enough. The s-pen connectivity i never used so its okay. And benchmarks are going almost double for me. And i am really happy with the rounded corners. I Will have better battery usage. 59 minutes 100% charging is perfect.

                              [deleted post]The iPhone 16 Pro got 4.6 stars, by the way. If GSMArena were actually being paid by Samsung they would've made the iPhone score lower.

                              They also wouldn't be saying that last year's phone is a bargain, if they were paid they'd want you to spend more for the new phone.

                                "The generational advancements may be several, but none is truly groundbreaking, and last year's model has a more capable S Pen - in a way, the S24 Ultra is giving you more for less, and we do enjoy a bargain"

                                I feel good that I about the S24 Ultra for a steep bargain. $900 for 512GB

                                    S26 ultra??

                                      I'm seeing a trend of mixed reviews even by "paid" youtubers, it doesn't bode well for Samsung's Ultra at all.
                                      I remember s23u barely had any disadvantages to list, while s25u is full of them.
                                      Seems like GSMArena is either doing damage control (due to their bombarding with Samsung articles on daily basis) or they're truly getting sick of what's Samsung been cooking.

                                        Well, the phone is good.. hardware, software.. but form, spen nerf and price are making it nogo for me. Just don't see a reason to burn those extra money. Next time, Samsung
