There is absolutely zero reason to get the S25U when you can have the S24U for like 30-40% less money and with like 95% of features. Yes, the Snapdragon Elite is faster and more efficient than the last Gen Snapdragon, but the S24U already did have a performance that was more than good enough in order to accomplish every task, every app and every game flawlessly. In everyday use there will be no difference in performance.

Oneplus 13 is cheaper and better.
Vivo X100 Ultra/Vivo x200 Pro/Oppo Find x7 ultra has better screen, camera and overall look.
And please do not forget Huawei/Honor/Xiaomi flagships.

In my thoughts and ao far experiance, the phone been updated somehow the parts and specs almost same but inside is increased quality, used s25 ultra for 2h playing non stop games online, took 30% of battery only, which is impressive my magic 5 pro within 2h playing it starts overheating and drains battery fast, been on video call for around 1h+ did 10% battery only, so as my experiance same specs same things but with quality increased, that spen in my thoughts is good as it aint needs to be charged and its been connected linked to be used on phone so it aint consumes any phone battery to use and it doesnt dissconects as is always connected, so i dont see why others moaning about that, the speaker sounds been updated sounds good for the phone, camera is clear and provides good quality, tho i paid just under 1k with disscounts phone itself good so far no complaints about it + its 7yrs software updates and 12gb ram 1tb memory plenty enough for few years until games or stuffs be updated to be used on bigger specs then it is now, the main thing is it wont heat on heavy gaming, or using on continuously, after all its phone not laptop or desktop to have those big specs, s25 ultra so faar its good phone

This is the flop of the year. If my Xiaomi would die now and not in November, I would buy S24 Ultra (which is what I actually did, I didnt wait for 25 U as I knew there will be ZERO inovations). Why would anybody pay 450 euro more for basically the same hardware? Rating should be like 4,2. the device is still solid but next generation will be like midranger.
What a pity Xiaomi didn't add esim to 14 Ultra ... maybe they will learn now that for full price we want device with full specs without compromise

People fail to understand that this phone is not meant for existing Ultra users to upgrade, its a bridge for Apple users to switch. That's why the design has gotten more similar to Apple, that's why they put a lot emphasis on the smoothness of the UI and that's the reason why they highlight AI, where Apple failed badly in their launch. And even if its not big of an upgrade, it still is an upgrade, not worth the money though.

Verdict
The ultimate (non-bendy) Galaxy traditionally has some big shoes to fill, and the S25 Ultra feels kind of loose in its pair. It's certainly anything but a bad phone - quite the competent one, in fact. It manages to extract pretty great endurance (out of a small-ish battery), has a very good display (in most ways), charges reasonably fast (in the right context), has an improved build (but missing some extra sealing), and remains the only truly viable option on the market if you want a stylus (even though the stylus itself is a downgrade this year).

The phone is good (But not so good as before and Samsung really needs to up their game)

I don't see y some see the S25U as disappointing the main disappointment was lacking of Bluetooth's Spen n everything else is an upgrade even it's minor but it's the way of all companies to upgrade n refine their products bit by bit even the one's that most of nagging about saw an update yes we wanted to see a 6000mah battery 🔋 just we weren't expecting the same capacity to last longer than expected n to be on par with the more larger the same for the cam samsung is going in the right direction of optimizing the software n that is making a positive impact on all the phone n that's what we really want to see not just gimmick hardware which is not useful whatsoever so kudos to samsung keep up the good work

Battery life for just making calls is 49 hrs. So no one will buy this just for making calls.
iPhone 16 is far better than S25 Ultra. We can buy 2 iPhone 16 for this price.

I need some inputs here, currently planning to upgrade to S25U from my OnePlus 6T . I have my friend working in samsung who has employee discount. So I would be getting it from around 95k . Would it be a worthy upgrade for this price.

IMO displays have been good enough since like the Note 6-8? I don’t really remember the differences. I am pretty happy with 60hz on a phone, and don’t think I really notice color differences etc.
I’d absolutely give up display performance, if it meant another hour+ of battery.
And I’d probably be more concerned with actual usability – like, how an anti-glare coating, to make videos look nicer while I’m a passenger in a car, etc. I don’t really go home put my phone on my desk, and ooh & ahh at how great some average youtube video looks. I don't really need to scroll Chrome at 120-240hz if it sacrifices battery
I don’t really disagree with you – maybe it’s time to make a phone model for people like me, and another phone model that is more expensive & does better in benchmarks. A flagship is called such for a reason, after all.
I’d probably be happier with a S24 ultra, which had a CPU & display which were oriented toward battery life. I still want bt S Pen, flat matte screen, best camera, 6000mah battery, faster charging, ip69, micro sd ….. but I don’t really care anymore about gaming performance, or pixel density, etc. – that stuff has mostly surpassed my needs. And I have a PC, OLED TV, etc. at home. I mostly need a tool with great battery, camera, S Pen, display, etc. Maybe they'll reorient the S26+ or something.
