So what is ultra here exactly?
Sensor of the main camera is tiny for the price. Ultrawide uses same sensor for a decade. Battery is tiny. Wireless charging at 15w is not feasible. Fast charging is absent.
This is a typical mid-range phone for 450-550 at best.
Ultra Ti or Ultra Super coming next to fix these issues?

There were more complaints on S24 Ultra. Few were delivered with pre-activated phones when ordered online.

S24+ was priced INR 99,999, but now trading for 59,999.

S25+ priced in the same way with just one update that is processor only. Priced too high.

Would have been launched for INR 80,000 considering the snapdragon processor.

Would expect price to fall down.

S25+ should be priced equal to iphone 16, and not over than that.

techlacying, 07 Feb 2025I am using both the S25 Ultra and S25 Plus, and the battery... moreThe sustained performance results for CPU & GPU of S25+ are the ones from S25 Ultra (SM-S938B)

the pictures with sustained performance are removed for older phones (SD 855). Their GIPS numbers over long periods of time are bigger than current phones

the battery of vivo IQOO 13 is charging from 91% to 100% in 2 minutes

i've bought my OnePlus 7 relying on this website review, but can't do that for my next phone

But yeah ig it makes sense. Games made for controller would be best played ON controllers.

Great review of the Samsung Galaxy S25+! For anyone using their phone for video calls or watching movies, I highly recommend the 720° Rotation Phone Holder. It provides ultimate convenience with its adjustable arm and secure positioning, allowing for a hands-free experience. No more hand strain during long calls or watching your favorite shows.

Kangal, 12 Feb 2025It is only "niche" beause this is an underserved ... moreSony's CEO in 2015, when announcing EoL for PS Vita:
“People have mobile phones, and it’s so easy to play games on smartphones. And many games on smartphones are free, or free to start.”

Gamers: WTH, are you crazy? Why, What, Nooo...

2025, after Sony basically flew away from smartphone market, Nintendo basically flooded the market with Switch, NPC browser solved the issue for Vita and Steam is selling Deck as hotcake:

"oops, Playstation might be in danger, we should release a mobile gaming console asap"

Gamers: WTH was Sony? aaa those Dark Souls masochists? Naa, whatever..

I think that sums it up with that company, it might crash and burn like Microsoft in gaming world.

jiyen235, 12 Feb 2025yeah but gaming on phones is such a compromised experience ... moreHave you used the "gaming" phones yourself ?
I'll tell you, the experience isn't good. Just try emulating a PS2, GameCube, or Wii game that requires modern inputs. So anything that's 3D Open World, or even FPS.

I tried playing CoD Black Ops Zombies, and it's basically unplayable with touch inputs. I tried the "air triggers" and yeah-nah it does not improve things to a point where I would call it enjoyable, or worth your time. Then I tried it with the Razer JungleCat, it was great. I also tried it with an Xbox One controller, it was excellent.

Simpson's Hit n Run, GT San Andreas, Quake 3, are also a few titles that are horrid without a physical gamepad. And those are 20+ year old games, which are still great to play today! Not to mention the few "high quality" native Android Games that are out there.

So I hope you can understand the problem: how can you play a modern 3D game, on a device that fits in your pocket. It used to be the PS Vita Slim, but we can do better/newer !!!

(GPD Win Mini is definitely NOT pocketable, nor are the GPD Win-2 or GPD Win-1 or AYN Odin2 Mini)

Kangal, 12 Feb 2025It is only "niche" beause this is an underserved ... moreyeah but gaming on phones is such a compromised experience with such mid games apart from emulated ones that i don't really care. And like yeah, you can attach a "pocketable" controller but my pockets are usually filled with keys and stuff and i only have space for my phone and i think most people think like that too. So in the end phone gaming is just EH.

That's why i said it's niche, not many people are going to want to go through that hassle on their phone. Apart from Gameboy games, i don't really enjoy emulated games on phones lol but ig that's just me. Good on you for trying out new stuff, i respect that. And i mean, aren't niche markets just underserved in general? Small market so less competitors/products there.

Anyways, might i suggest the Redmagic 10 Pro with its triggers and cooling fan? Wouldn't that alleviate the "necessity" of a controller?

jiyen235, 12 Feb 2025oh dang you're talking about snapping a custom control... moreIt is only "niche" beause this is an underserved market.
I want you to think back in history, about pocketable consoles and what was best.

                                        1) DS Lite (R4 Kart)
                                        2) PSP Brite (Modded)
                                        3) new3DS (jailbroken)
                                        4) PS Vita Slim (hacked)

...all of these can live in one pocket, leaving you space in a second pocket for your phone. Example:
                                        1) + Nokia N90
                                        2) + HTC TyTN II
                                        3) + HTC One XL (QSD S4)
                                        4) + Samsung Note 4 (Exynos)

                                        Notable alternatives:
                                        1) Sony Xperia Play (+ built-in pads)
                                        2) Motorola Milestone 2 (+ GameGripper)
                                        3) Samsung NOTE (+ Zeemotes x2)
                                        4) Samsung S10+ (Razer JungleCat)

                                        Obscure Handhelds:
                                        1) Anbernic RG 351p
                                        2) Miyoo Mini v1
                                        3) Anbernic RG 405M
                                        4) Retroid Pocket 2S
                                        5) Retroid Pocket 5 Mini
