                vik457, 20 hours agoExcuse me, but which sensor was used in 10x on s21 ultra?No one knows for sure, but it might actually be a 12MP 1/2.93"-type sensor instead, with the crop used to get a 10MP resolution equating it to 1/3.24"-type. Mathematically it would make sense.

                It's not the Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU though, even though it's a 1/3.2"-type sensor, because it has DPAF instead of PDAF and a smaller pixel pitch (also why I suggested an alternative size for the sensor).

                    This is handily beaten by both the Moto G55 and G85, especially as they can now be had for way less than than £200.

                        And even though it's one of the most affordable options in the context of the US market, we aren't completely convinced that an LCD panel is the way to go in 2025.


                        It is nice actually. A phone without pwm and flickering is good for all those people that a sensitive to pwm. Seriously GSMArena z maybe be somewhat more open minded.

                              Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025I was sure this was a $200 phone, not $300. It would be a m... moreAll facts over here. It's the reason why I decided to get a Nothing 2a end of last year so I could get away from my Motorola G82.

                              I can't believe this is $300. Yes it has a headphone jack and sd card slot which are great but this is a Moto G Power which was known for its great performance and battery life. This has neither!

                              The Nothing 2a isn't a perfect phone but its a bang for buck no nonsense phone and even though the performance isn't mega fast its fast enough for regular tasks without performance hiccups.

                              What a massive shame. Motorola were the GOATs for no nonsense great budget phones. They are nothing now. No pun intended

                                The alternative for this phone is the Nothing Phone (2a) you can find it at around 290€ or 310 freedom money.
                                Another very good phone alternative is the Samsung Galaxy A55 priced at 320€. But I don't think the hamburger country has availability.

PS,ar... moreWhile I think this should've had OLED, if you have high sensitivity to PWM, then I completely get you. It must be very difficult for you to find something that doesn't give you headaches and/or discomfort with your eyesight because of how little there's left of LCD phones.

                                        I was sure this was a $200 phone, not $300. It would be a much better sell at that price. The Nothing Phone 2a is around that price (presumably the 3a too) and with much better specs to boot, so what was Motorola expecting here?
