Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025This guy 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ It's a reasonable ass... moreIn particular the claim about oppo find x7 ultra shorter telephoto. He's also wrong about dcg/dsg/dag.

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025What kind of fallacious, circular logic is that?it isn't logic, it's trolling

      vik457, 27 Feb 2025They're going "but it's a crop" in x15u newsThis guy 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

It's a reasonable assumption to make, but the fact that he can't understand he's wrong when presented with the evidence is astounding.

PureOS, 27 Feb 2025Finally ok device with LCD screen. Good job Motorola. PS,ar... moreyour eyes will be fine if the phone has 1000+ hz PWM dimming

Should have been 199€ at launch and a decent buy discounted to 150€

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025In that case you might be right. They're going "but it's a crop" in x15u news

Moto G Power 2025 review is out alongside Moto G Prix 2025 this week..

vik457, 27 Feb 2025It's dual pixel pdaf on telephotos on s21 ultra, which... moreIn that case you might be right.

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025Yeah that claim is utterly wrong. As far as I remember there isn't a sensor with both photodiode transistor stacking and dcg yet.

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025That one has DPAF instead of PDAF though It's dual pixel pdaf on telephotos on s21 ultra, which 3j1 has

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025Yeah that claim is utterly wrong.Periscopes have much bigger lenses diameter now, perhaps something like ov50m with f/3.0

vik457, 27 Feb 2025It might be isocell 3j1 with 1,22 micrometer pixel pitchThat one has DPAF instead of PDAF though

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025Yeah that claim is utterly wrong.Another wrong take from them is dcg/dsg/dag being multi-exposure

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025No one knows for sure, but it might actually be a 12MP 1/2.... moreIt might be isocell 3j1 with 1,22 micrometer pixel pitch

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025Yeah that claim is utterly wrong.I would add those 10x weren't near the limits of possible.

vik457, 27 Feb 2025I asked because someone was stating bigger sensor than 1/4&... moreYeah that claim is utterly wrong.

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025No one knows for sure, but it might actually be a 12MP 1/2.... moreI asked because someone was stating bigger sensor than 1/4" was never used in realme ultra news.

vik457, 27 Feb 2025Excuse me, but which sensor was used in 10x on s21 ultra? No one knows for sure, but it might actually be a 12MP 1/2.93"-type sensor instead, with the crop used to get a 10MP resolution equating it to 1/3.24"-type. Mathematically it would make sense.

It's not the Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU though, even though it's a 1/3.2"-type sensor, because it has DPAF instead of PDAF and a smaller pixel pitch (also why I suggested an alternative size for the sensor).

Darth Caesium, 27 Feb 2025While I think this should've had OLED, if you have hig... moreExcuse me, but which sensor was used in 10x on s21 ultra?

This is handily beaten by both the Moto G55 and G85, especially as they can now be had for way less than than £200.
