Android Authority has uploaded a set of samples, including the one taken at 15x - The telephoto samples look quite spectacular for a smartphone, to say the least.

I just watched the review from MrWhoseTheBoss, and the telephoto shots were mind blowing.

I'm not a pro but when talking of camera the xiaomi 15 ultra still mess up with daylight photos (yellowish/reddish tint, warm and oversaturated output) and this is something I see every other Chinese company coping from Apple (except Huawei doing it better). Samsung did same during the S24 era but got it right with the latest series. And with this tint/saturation, camera output are far from been lively and true to real live scenes. Chinese manufacturers seems to find it fashionable because no one cares, seems to be the standard for today.

Xiaomi has as much bloatware as Samsung, pixels and any other android brand so this was just a really bad way to try look funny and "cool" with a terrible false joke, gg.

And let's be honest, if it wasn't for Samsung and Google introducing 7 years of OS updates, you would've still thought that 4 years is pretty good. Not only that, but literally most people will change their smartphones after 3-4 years.

The internet is full of comparisons and it's better to draw your own conclusions. For example, I prefer blind tests, like this one:
                      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fjq8xErM3Zk
Or best of all, try the phone yourself in a store.
It's a shame that the reviews are made only based on the standard settings of the phones. I would really like to have reviews where photos of Flagships are compared with settings made by professional photographers, so that we can understand the real qualities and capabilities of the phones.

American centric reviewers are going to have a fit when they can't name iPhone Pro Max or Galaxy S Ultra as phone of the year.

                                I'm not impressed.

                                No sd card slot

No IPS LCD only cheap OLED screen.

                                No buy from me.
                                Xiaomi what are you smoking

                                  Has only 5410mAh
Google dialer icon is white instead of green

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2025Rx100 has Type 1.0 as well. Very old sensor by the way . ... moreCanon's ultra-thin FF 28mm F2.8 lens uses moulded plastic aspherical elements to achieve a thin profile. Results? It delivers excellent corner-to-corner sharpness, has no problem with handling flare, and its bokeh looks pleasant enough (at least for what you expect from a wide angle F2.8 lens). It's one of the highest quality pancake lenses available in the market at the moment, and while Sony and Nikon have a similar offering (APS-C 20mm F2.8 for Sony, 26mm F2.8 for Nikon, respectively), they are not even remotely close in terms of the overall image quality.

Plastic elements are usually more suitable if you want to bend lights in a complex way in a small package because it's significantly easier to manufacture them. Glass is slightly more transparent, more damage resistant and has a higher refractive index in general. It's nonsensical to compare RX100's lens to smartphone lenses because the former is a zoom while the latter are prime, although I don't really understand where you got the information that RX100's lens is "higher quality" to begin with.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2025how is a 5410 mah battery that bad for you?Because Chinese version has 6000 mAh.
