Screenless battery drain like while using maps or idling should still be much less than in 16. So if your 16 eats 10% just while sitting in your pocket, 16e may not. Sadly we dont have this accounted for.

          The battery life is really bad. Despite a battery bigger than the regular models, and having a less powerful chip and one less camera. Apple has recycled their bad chips lol

                I don't know what's the problem with this phone. We live in idiocracy, Apple could sell it for 1699€ and people would still buy it.

Apple will certainly focus optimizing new iOS for devices with 8GB RAM minimum, now that the cheapest iPhone has 8GB of RAM (and iPhone 17 Pro getting 12GB). Expect devices with less than 8GB get the stepchild treatment. Considering their prices, I wouldn't want to be buying an iPhone with less than 8GB of RAM today. The 15 Pro is the minimum I would get.

                        My S24 Ultra will charge from 0 to 100 in a little over 2 hours at it's 15w rate but at 7.5w it will take over 4 hours to charge up the iPhone 16e. The iPhone 16e is sure to be the most successful flopped smartphone of all time.

                          As an Android user i wanted to ask:
                          When using an app or browser tapping the top portion of the display takes you to the very top of the page?
                          When hiding apps can you actually hide or edit the name of the "Hidden apps" folder so it can stay totally hidden?
                          Can I use Google Wallet on my iPhone?
                          When using Whatsapp, Telegram or similar apps if i want to attach a photo can i do that directly on the app or do i have to go to my photos then upload or share it from there?
                          When unlocking the phone do i unlock using my face then i can swipe up to open my iPhone?
                          If using London public transport do i have to open or "wake up" my phone to tap to pay or can i do it whilst the screen is off?
                          Can i use the camera to scan QR codes? And will it open automatically or manually?
                          Can i drag n drop a photo and save it under my Photos?
                          Can i do a scrolling or full page screenshot on a third-party browser or app?
                          If i'm saving a .pdf file can i choose which app or location i can save it to?
                          Is it true that Google apps function better/faster on iOS than Android in general?

                                Apple messed up here by placing it too close to main models both in terms of design and price. People will just buy the 16 or maybe an older iPhone at same price. Who's gonna buy this ?

                                  I like the fact that Gsma isn't scared to trash this POS.
                                  It makes NO sense to buy this over the iPhone 15 or 14 Pro.

                                      So according to GSMArena, battery life, especially on the web (using the internet), isn't impressive as opposed to some on YouTube who are praising it. I trust GSMArena when it comes to battery life reviews, especially since they reflect real-life usage, as I experienced it with my Pixel 6 Pro, which has a mediocre battery life, as was shown in its review over here, despite many YouTubers claiming it was great, which wasn’t. I will skip this phone; also, it has a pretty mediocre camera design, ridiculously mediocre. I can’t wait for the iPhone 17 Air; its rumored design is pure🔥

                                        I forgot this phone doesn't even have always on besides still having 60hz panel. How ridiculous is that in 2025...
