I would not touch this overpriced rubbish.
Slowest charge speed around.. Android mid-range phones demolish this joke with what they have. I am no Apple fanboi, although i am using an 13 Mini as my daily driver. But i just think this is too overpriced for what (little) this has to offer.

Then year after that, they will buy a new phone, cause newer iOS needs 2 GB more than what their current device has, kek.

Plus an 8 MP UWA, which is average, but better than nothing. 6.78"/120 Hz AMOLED display. max. 67 Watts charging, 5000 mA battery. Features from 2024, from a real budget phone (140 to 170 bucks, 8/256 GB Edition) - and a expensive 2025 Apple "budget" iPhone 16e doesn't have.
60 Hz display into a phone with 8/256 GB for 829 EUR anno 2025...and a extremely small 1/2.55" 48 MP Sensor 4in1 pixel binning camera, what a joke for the money.
For the record - i an buy a Xiaomi 14T Pro 12/512 GB into titan grey brand new for like ~570-580 EUR here into my country, brand new, this smokes this cheap, expensive 16e iPhone into every possible way, runs circles around it. And costs much less, offers a fine 3-camera setup, and excellent hardware for the asking price. Much better image quality via the included Leica cameras, too.

If the 16e used the same screen panel as the 16 and 15, it might have scored a much better battery rating. A 4000mAh battery in a 6.1" body is a good step, especially when it was previously only reserved for the Plus and Pro Max models.

Its funny Apple are using its "amazing" price as the main point in the advertising campaign when it is generally seen as the most overpriced poor value iPhone ever! Tone deaf as usual.

But I am aware that it makes no difference when people want to get an iPhone. I don't know what you have been reading or watching but there have been big tech reviewers who have said this simply isn't value for money or worth it.

What a joke! 829 EUR, only 256GB....and one main cam backside. Well played Apple, your fans pay more for less... :) Any 1 1/2 year old Xiaomi 13T beats this up easily. Costing just around 200 bucks, used. Main, and only backside camera Sensor is "1/2.55", 0.7µm-1.4µm, f/1.6, 26mm, PDAF" totally absymal specs, it does have phase detect AF, but Apple is chickening out with a extremely small Sensor 1/2.55", i bet it costs them almost nothing, so cheapskate, it is. :)

Screenless battery drain like while using maps or idling should still be much less than in 16. So if your 16 eats 10% just while sitting in your pocket, 16e may not. Sadly we dont have this accounted for.

The battery life is really bad. Despite a battery bigger than the regular models, and having a less powerful chip and one less camera. Apple has recycled their bad chips lol
