There is no extra tax for charger, Xiaomi just using that law for its favor.

If this got LTPO it would get more than 16h and it's quite impressive that it can get more than 13h with this small battery, 8 Elite and 1440p screen.

In my country Indonesia, you can buy the Xiaomi 15 with 12/512GB config for €700, while the cheapest SD 8 Elite phone available here is the iQOO 13 with 12/256 config retailing at €520.

Check all the YouTube video and unboxing that most reviewer did about a week ago. How did they do it before the phone is released? Xiaomi already sent them the phone in advance to showcase by doing unboxing and share basic info. They had embargo in place so they could not reveal benchmark and battery test. Since the phone is now officially unveiled now they can publish the result.
Check gsmarena post itself. Even they got the phone about a week early before launch. So plenty of time to test and share the info as soon as the embargo lifted.
