    Almost all companies are doing this one thing very wrong: Why would I need a (mediocre or outright subpar) 15mm UWA beside a 23mm WA lens? The gap in focal range is way too small in order to justify two camera modules.

    In order for an UWA to be meaningful, we would have to set the focal lenghts much more apart from each other, eg. 12 mm UWA vs 28 mm WA. Now, that would make some sense. But 15 mmg vs 23 mm is just wasted money.

        Not them already having reviews AND battery result for a phone that just GOT announced. See how late they review Samsung phones. More proof Xiaomi is paying reviewers. 🤦

          the presence of the IQOO 13 nullifies this phone completely. In no way whatsoever is this even remotely better than that phone apart from design/UI which are subjective and the 2.5x camera which doesn't matter as much for a performance phone.

          Better battery, better speakers, better thermals, better software and a more "reliable" photography kit on the IQOO. I must say, the 2.5x is genuinely great on the Poco, but who really cares about the telephoto cam when everything else is worse?

          Imagine buying a performance phone for its camera, lmao.

              It would he be nice if you mentioned the battery chemistry on the regular in these reviews, as this may impact any phones longevity. I assume it's carbon silicon? Nice to know if the battery will live long enough to see all the android versions it's supposed to receive.

              In the photo comparisons in the article, in some sections the author refers to the phone as a "Poco 7 Pro", which is obviously a mistake that requires correction.

              It would also be interesting to include the X7 Pro results in some of the performance benchmarks I think, for those looking at compromising a little more, but that's just a suggestion.

              So far, for me at least, the F7 Pro or even the X7 Pro may be more compelling and better value with relatively few critical compromises in the Poco sphere, but that's just my opinion. Better value may possibly be found in other brands today, depending on people's subjective priorities of course.

                its funny how they boasted about super ultra cooling solution and it still throttles to 50%, they are shameless.

                  Bad sustained performance ruined whole experience. They should focus more on thermal throttling. There's no the point to put 8 Elite when it losing 50% of it's power. The rest of the phone is very good

                    That was better than I expected. After it drops in price in a few months it can be a very good pick.

                        main camera of Ultra is same as last year "Pro" which was "decent" back then. Nice try with the branding Xiaomi but its a hard pass for me.

                          I remember those times when GSMArena used to tell us if the camera had pro options, if we could shoot in RAW... Not anymore.

                          Also, pretty disappointed with battery life.

                            Aside from the battery, are there any differences between the Chinese one to the Global one, in terms of software and network? Like no bloatware, ads, Chinese-exclusive features.

                            I'm planning to buy the Xiaomi Redmi K80 Ultra due to its huge battery, which is 7400-7500 mAh, according to leaks.

                                If they kept the 6000 mah battery and the charger in the box ( for UK market ) I was going to buy it. But nope, didn't happen so I won't buy

                                    Why are the Chinese OEMs including selfie cameras with high MPs and no pixel binning?

                                      the battery's downgrade wasn't necessary at all
                                      and with non-LTPO display, it's truly unnecessary

                                        Realme GT 7 pro is the better phone.

                                        F7 Ultra is a pointless phone at this price. Not sure what they are thinking.
