Even for 25k₹ it's hard to sell. Samsung lost mid rangers to chinese.

No progress, and traditionally with some regress. If I had A52s, still I wouldn't see any reasons for upgrading like until A59.

            sammy = above 4 outta 5...

              Decent CPU/GPU performance against competitors.
Similar screen and speakers, just better.
Camera performance, besides videos and selfies, are mid. Solid 5-5.5/10.
Worse battery but only by a tad bit, compared to A55.

Would give it a 6.5/10. Samsung isnt trying or slacking either. If you want a telephoto, get the 3a Pro but you are giving up extra CPU/GPU power. If your looking for more power or something different, OnePlus and Xiaomi has something better for you.

The A56 does what it needs to be: a decently-fast phone with specs that will satisfy most people buying this. If your hating on this phone, its not for you. Simple as that.

and with this test of the terrible camera we can also put an end to the A56, since they also removed the micro sd slot.
it is useless compared to the previous models and is not worth the asking price

To much compromises. No micro SD, virtual proximity sensor, underwhelming picture quality, worse battery life than previous model, basically no faster charging despite 45w rated one. Not to mention no screen protector, case, charger in the box, and even cable which is there can't produce fast charging speed. Also no improvement in Pwm dimming at all. I honestly expected more of this device. I'm a little bit disappointed.

rakesh2010, 21 Mar 2025i hope the 12gb ram version is available here in my country.Outside of flagships, Samsung has really lost the plot with its mid rangers. Mediocre charging speed, Poor Cameras (for the price), bezels around the display. Missing out on expandable storage makes it less appealing than its predecessor.
This phone, at least in India, is so heavily overpriced where it competes with the likes of OnePlus 13R, Iqoo 12, the company's own S23, S23+ etc which offer much better overall package.
What's worse is that this phone is a tough sell against phones which are even a tier below - Realme GT6, GT6T, Nothing Phone 3A/3A Pro, Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Vivo T3 Ultra and the likes.
The only saving grace is the software support but for the asking price, I don't really understand why someone who would value bang for buck will consider this phone.

What? 5+h game time?!? GSMArena, are you sure????? That's really.. terrible!

Main camera is indeed underwhelming, specially indoors. Given how good the video looks, it must be some processing issue. Selfies are very good though, I liked them a lot.

Overall, your typical no nonsense Samsung device. Boring, yes, but that's not a bad thing, depending on what you're looking for. Shame about the thick bezels, the removal of microSD support, the fierce competition and the most likely terrible PWM implementation.

I had the A54 and I was hoping to upgrade to the A56 but with no SD card support, Samsung even the playing field so I shopped around a bit and got someone's unwanted S24 FE upgrade, still sealed in the box for cheaper than an A56. Must say, you can feel the difference between an A device and the FE. It's a breeze

i hope the 12gb ram version is available here in my country.

I knew this review would drop today.

GSMArena is predictable these days. 😌
