14T, Poco, Realme etc. tons of better phones out there

4.1 rating is generous if you read the review itself since it says "hard to recommend" and many disadvantages.

Based on the review, should be 3.5 at most. Why the rating doesn't reflect that is puzzling.

How is the Exynos modem performance these days? Exynos doesn't matter, but if I buy an A36 instead of an A56 because I don't like the modem, would that be a stupid choice?

Why this is a downgraded version from its predecessor with close price ?
Samsung might be jealous of apple

                  No 10 bit display
                  No 1.5k resolution
                  No fast charging
No autofocusing ultrawide camera (macro camera should be removed for a cleaner look)
                  Slow charging

                  It's 2025 Samsung, wake up.

The oneplus 13r is a much better phone than this. The A series is just overpriced

Wished next software update gives more battery efficiency.

This phone should have the same starting price as Nothing Phone 3A.
Yes we know Samsung phones drop in price fast, but still its way too expensive and even worse its almost criminal selling for 450E, a base 8/128gb version in 2025.

DroitwichGas, 21 Mar 2025Why would any A55 consider an upgrade after just a year?It can be a strategy, some of my friends do this: they wait until a new Samsung midranger phone gets discounted to below £300 or even to £250, then they buy it. Keep it for a year by when the next year's Samsung midranger phone gets discounted to a similar £300 or even £250. Then they buy it, and once it's proven to be alright, and the discount period for the new phone is over, they sell their 1 year old phone for about £200 on eBay or similar. That way they always have a less than 1 year old midreanger/upper midranger phone for about £50 to £100 per year, that's not a bad deal actually...

Maybe the battery drain on both the A56 and the new Nothing phone 3a series are from better screens (that consume more power) or stereo speakers which are draining battery life. Obviously they both have bigger screens too.
