I don't see iporovmeners, camera seems even worse than previous gen.
No jack ( it was a thing of those big heavey lower end phone they had the jack), battery disastrous....
I'll probably buy the a56 to my parents so. Even it's expensive , at least it's worth, better in everything than their actual Samsung

Bought one. Hopeless phone. Gets heated with slightest use. Camera needs a lot of improvement. No stereo and sound is awful. No audio jack, extra cost for blue tooth speaker. Specifications are inferior compared to earlier models of Samsung those are available at a lower price. A number of phones with much better specifications are available at this price. Poor choice regarding value for money

Talk about the ultimate form of recycling by reusing a 2023 chipset. But with six OS updates for this A26, it somewhat indirectly tells the world that Samsung support their chipset for ten years. By right, both the A54 and A35 should be eligible for Android 21 with OneUI 13, since the A26 will get it. If Samsung supports their chipset for a decade, they should start downsizing their lineup and build self-repairable and self-upgradable phones like Fairphone.

Anonymous, 19 May 2025I’m looking for a phone for someone with budget of $200 and... moreIf you want a brand new phone under 200$ with long software support , it will be a bit difficult , But you have some options like you could go for Redmi note 14 4G it has 4years of software support but sadly no ois it's a good phone for its price 8GB ram 256GB rom , or you can look into second hand market , you could look for Google pixel 6 or 6a or 6 pro, these are under 200$ and these used to be top level flagship phones from Google, these phones have great camera OIS etc etc everything you need , you will have to sacrifice Software updates , if you ask me I would say go for Google pixel 6a, 6 or 6pro because Google takes care of their older phones so using these phones even without getting software updates won't be an issue, these are extremely smooth and good camera phones , that's my opinion, do your own research then decide which phone you want. You could also check Redmi note 14 5G but it is priced at somewhere near 250+ Dollars and only 2years of software updates , so it is up to you

Of course, if you're not bothered by the missing SD card slot. A shame, really. I'd wager their sales would've been 50% higher because of that. Would have liked to see a new UW sensor, though. I think it's the same one since A52s. And Macro sensor... Well, it's just wasted money. I don't like paying for things I don't need / use.

The A26 has some improvements over the A25, such as 1380 Exynos processor and IP67 protection, but the A25 has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Always on Display and a brighter screen. The A26 could be considered a downgrade rather than an upgrade.

Oh come on, Samsung, even Sony had the decency and bravery to keep the stereo speakers in Xperia 10 series since Xperia 10 V in 10 VI. What makes you think removing the stereo speakers from Galaxy A25 in A26 would be a great idea? Vivo even doing better keeping the stereo speakers upgrade in V series that was present first in V40 in V50.

Say all you want about how optimized Samsung's software is (it isn't), there's no denying that the 3 year old Exynos 1280 will not survive 6 years of OS updates. It wasn't impressive when it released with the a53 and a33, and it isn't impressive now, nor will it be 6 years from now. The chip is already bordering on providing a sluggish and overall poor experience, and with how bloated and resource hungry One UI is, this phone is guaranteed to be barely usable 3 years from now, let alone 6
