PureOS, 01 Apr 2025Wow, I didn't expect that. Bad brightens, bad battery ... moreA lot of the weaknesses are caused by the lower quality hardware. The A26 is literally a phone made to clear Samsung's inventory of old parts.

Just when you think it can't get worse, they go and axe stereo speakers on this device...

Wow, I didn't expect that. Bad brightens, bad battery life, bad speaker, bad main camera experience, so so performance. Oh, and base variant comes with 6gb of ram, not 8 as mentioned in article. This should cost 180€ max.

This is a solid review. It's been really sad seeing the sub $300 phone market filled with terrible releases over the last 2 years. Even basic things like having solid battery life have disappeared.
Just saw a Nothing 2a on Amazon for £240. At least you'll get the solid battery life and somewhat respectable 45w charging.

Ok, it's a budget device and you can't expect much. But when all competitors in this price range offer a lot more bang for the buck, there's no hood reason to go for the Samsung. Maybe region limitations or Samsung's aggressive marketing would.

This is bad. Starting to think they're doing it on purpose. I mean, no one can be this incompetent, right? Ax6 series = fail. Next!

Wow, that is one overpriced phone. Makes the iPhone 16e look like a good value for money.
