Irek, 01 Nov 2025Whether I was rich enough or not, why would I buy inferior ... morethat's not what i meant. The guy was saying he got both the x200 ultra and the find x8 ultra but sold them and got his s23 ultra.
If he was rich enough to buy 2 phones he would've been rich enough to upgrade to the latest Samsung ultra.
Also, please don't rely on dxomark's horrible numbers. It all depends on how much a manufacturer pays. Rely on your eyes and tests from other people. Like TechNick or Lover Of Tech's battery tests. GSMarena's speaker tests. TechTablets and a lot of others' camera comparisons.

Resold both of them in just 2 days. Bcz the battery life was not that super best as advertised, even the lithium tech on s23U even after updating to one ui8 is on par, secondly the video smoothness on samsung i just love that. The screen protector was peeled from side after a reset,i wonder how much heat this phone is exhausting. Lastly, most of us are addicted to one ui. Its the strongest point bcz most of us just use camera occasionally. Anyhow, just buy it, and test it.

It's weird that they removed some of the frequency bands from the X7 Ultra that worked in USA. I wonder if it had anything to do with the Nokia lawsuit. I heard they settled and agreed to pay royalties so maybe those bands used Nokia tech so they didn't want to add them to a China only phone?

Shoot from the same spot, one image at 12,5 MP, the other at 26 MP and the third a high resolution 50MP.
I've also made a side by same comparison of the 12,5 MP one vs the 50 MP one, at the same magnification, so the details can be easily exterminated.
The GSMArena statement is untrue, IMO:
"What we're struggling a bit more to see is any real advantage in shooting in 25MP resolution on the main camera...It's sort of a similar story with the switch to 50MP - things are just getting progressively softer on a pixel level, and if there's an actual extra amount of detail, it's not plain to see."
O.B.S.: the camera doesn't have a 25 MP mode, but a 26 MP mode (5888x4416 pixels).

Samples over the internet, not says everything. What my eyes see, on these posted pictures of Vivo and Oppo, is that on some reviews the one look better and opposite. I am not fan of any brand. Coming from analog, then used indeed my Sony RX 100 camera for years, going to the Samsung S 23 U, has been a let down. On a monitor, it looks artificial, sharpened and flat.
By again, seeing tons of pictures, the Oppo Find 8, look the most like taken with a real camera. The pictures have more depth. The Vivo colours look a bit more natural, the Oppo bit too red, but I find the processing more visible to my taste and eye. This not mean that oppo not has heavy processing, but it has for me an more natural look.
The screen of the Oppo, that is for me the biggest let down. It is already difficult enough to take a pic in bright sun, and that should only be improved, like Samsung did on the 25 U
And after stating this, I say again, I need to have each phone in my hand to see if finally I see a phone, that gives me as much pleasure as my digital cameras...

Anonymous, 18 May 2025it’s not worth it as they know it won’t get a lot of salesI think the same but it would make more sense to make the ultra versions global instead of just the other versions. But also in a sense the cheaper models are the ones majority of buying internationally. Not the flagships.
