Xiaomi Mix Flip is available as global option for some time already. I got one last week and it has been great so far. I’d appreciate an update to the text as it’s factually wrong.

is anyone talking about USB 2.0?

If moto can release the next Razr by following the Huawei PuraX aspect ratio, I would have bought it immediately.
It is the best aspect aspect ratio for Media consumption videos without huge black bars as it is closer to the 16:9 than the most slim 20:9 traditional candy bar fone ,yet with still a small form factor unlike the Huge blackbands especially on large Foldables even the Oppo N5 has huge blackbands wasting all the real estate when watching movies.
I hope Moto will follow suit as it is a great aspect ratio. I was hoping Samsung might but given its track record we know by now that is always sleeping at the wheel these days when t comes to innovation, samsung comes last will only copy Apple with all its mini itearative upgrades will be a lonnnnng time before they change anything major

I know that's a big reason to use oled, I remember around the mid 2010s when LG and Samsung were battling it out with foldable oleds and how the future was to get them in to all forms of product lines.

Also OLED doesn't require a backlight and are thinner, that with the flexibility and robustness means it's the far more logical and practical solution.

Impressive how Motorola is leading the flip phones race.

Hard to find a better flip phone than this

Samsung is releasing a Solid State batteries for their rings this year. Next year they will use Solid State batteries in their smart watch. They just released a Silicon Carbon Nanocomposite (SCN) anode battery for micro-mobility transport. They are also on schedule to release Solid State Batteries for high-end EVs by 2027. They will have something for their phones.

On the other hand, you don't see anyone using silicone carbon batteries in EVs or micro-mobility devices. These other companies only need phone batteries. Samsung has much more on their plate to consider.

Looks like Samsung isn't going to be able to ignore silicon carbon battery tech anymore.

Time to get therapy for their exploding Note trauma and move on.

Silicon carbon is a requirement for this form factor. Either they embrace new battery tech, or they get left in the dust. Simple as that.

You can say what you want, but at the time is the most powerful foldable. And I doubt that Samsung's flip will do better. All foldables throttle and it's a thing.
